Fair point. % points clear of Citeh, but others are closer. I'd be surprised if come May we're battling for the title with Saints or Villa but it's a funny old game so you never know.
I'm not expecting either Saints or Villa to be up there but we Saints fans are enjoying it whilst it lastsNot the greatest game ever. Despite thinking I'd have been happy with a point before the game started I was a little dejected when Lampard scored to equalise.
Thought Ramires and Willian were terrible and only Matic stood out. Drogba was awful when he came on and is starting to look like a boxer who has had one fight too many.
Still - that is the hardest game of the season, on paper, out of the way.

Off to the game tonight, my first one of the season. Hope I don't jinx our unbeaten start.
Don't think I've ever witnessed such a one sided 2-1 victory. If only Schurrle had his shooting boots on tonight the scoreline would have been a lot more realistic. Those new floodlights are a bit blinding!

3 and easy in just the sort of game we used to balls up last season
Costa on the scoresheet again too, the lad is a monster. Hit the post at City last week, could so easily be on 100% scoring record so far - as it is he's on 1.33 goals per game with 8 already....trackdemon said:

Apparently he only needs 12 more goals to beat Torres all time Chelsea record. Mental.TwigtheWonderkid said:
Dreadful finishing last night. That game should have been all over after 20 mins, so we could take players off in preparation for Ar5e on Sunday. Instead it turned into a real battle.
The Ar5e fans must be laughing their heads off.
I think it was telling that Jose went over to the Sporting keeper after the match finished and congratulated him. He (Patricio) was the MOM for me. He kept three or four out.The Ar5e fans must be laughing their heads off.
Although you're right that we should have scored more, it was a good result away from home in a fairly hostile stadium. Costa continues to impress with his attitude and work rate, even if he was a bit unlucky last night. Just hope he can do 90 minutes at the weekend.
With Chelsea Arsenal this weekend, a head to head comparison, and the chance for both sides to laugh at Spurs.
