You're not wrong. Always a danger of complacency when you're up against lesser teams who you'd be expected to beat in your sleep. If we don't take it seriously, and perform below par, I can easily see us only winning by 2 or 3.

Same line up as against Schalke. Hopefully a similar score line.

Off the post from Willian. Keeper managed to get a hand on it though.

Sunderland are defending deep very well. This could be one of those games when a goal against the run of play could steal it.

At least he'll miss the Spurs match.

Proving tricky to break them down, possession stats are silly for an away team. Can see this going either way though, always a chance of Sunderland nicking something on the break, or a set piece.

disappointing result and performance. Maybe a bit of complacency creeping in? Let's hope it's addressed before next Wednesday, though without Costa it won't be straightforward.

Yeah. Sunderland were quite defensive, fair play to them, we've done that in the past too.

Still, one point better than no points.

I thought Costa was lucky to not get sent off, let alone booked from the bits I managed to watch. I thought he was going to take that Sunderland players head off yikes Although I had drunk a few beers and was watching it in a bar with a shockingly jerky stream so it may not have been as bad as it looked. Still, at least he looks like he gives 110% every game he's involved in, I think he's the best PL signing of the summer with Fabregas a close second.

That was Will.I.An's best game. But Costa was very lucky to no be sent off. Overall, not great, but onwards and upwards.

Let's hope so but I've got a bad feeling about Wednesday.
