Feeling a bit nervous about tomorrow. When we got humiliated by Bradford, I didn't know any of their fans. But living in W. London, I know a few Bees. It'll be hell if we lose. Not to mention Melman Giraffe whooping with joy on here, ffs.
I'm in the East Lower for the match.
Should be able to put the 3rd team out though in reality and win this, no? I bt the Brentford fans will be well up for this - when was the last time they played at SB? (You'll tell me last season in some pre-season friendly or something, no doubt!) ...I'm in the East Lower for the match.

Agreed, cheers for the link. I have to admit I quite like Carragher these days, thought he would be awful on Sky but he proved me wrong!m3sye said:

got myself a ticket for today's game, in the Executive Suites of all places! Never been in somewhere like that so should be an interesting experience!
Last time I was in one of those, our room was hosted by Peter Osgood and Kerry Dixon. I got my match programme signed by Osgood. No queue for the toilets and the grub wasn't half bad either! Enjoy.
That was an interesting insight into the prawn sandwich brigade. I'd say it was about 2.3rds full (Southgate was sitting just across in the next section) and about half and half between fans and daytrippers who didn't even applaud the goals. Some didn't even leave the suite and just sat watching the game on TV! Met Harris and Tambling, and although they're both before my time it's great to see them in good health. It's impressive and I can see why all top clubs have such facilities, but it feels very detached so give me the turnstyles and horrid tasting food any day (although I would quite like the padded seats).
As for the game, all pretty straightforward and good to see the youth given a chance. Batshuayi still looks a long way from a finished article and Zouma seemed to tire by the end, but Ake was impressive. Thought the second goal would kill the game but Brentford came out and had a go in the second half, and for 15 minutes or so it felt like a proper cup tie.
On the train home there was a little kid who had presumably been to his first match, and couldn't stop talking about how incredible every single one of our players was and how the result was the greatest thing ever. Oh for those days of wild eyed innocent wonder

Pretty much sums up my one and only hospitality match-day. (Treat from the wife)I'm a City fan, so different stadium! Same experience, though.

That was pretty much my thoughts when my son and me went in the hospitality' middle east '. It was a retirement gift from my workmates and although it was an amazing experience which I won't be doing again partly due to the cost , I like to walk through the turnstiles instead of being escorted in a lift with piped music up to the hospitality corridor. I'd much rather have the atmosphere sitting (or preferably standing) with real fans who are actually more bothered about the game and not the brand of prossecco on offer at half time.
