Yahooo!!!!! Missed this thread. Missed the comedy value.

Is very nice to have the Blues in the top three and the Reds in the bottom three!!!

Crisis? What crisis. Best start of the season in years. Worse for you lot in a 100+ years...Might be a dream....

Greetings. smile

Game was lost when Henderson came on and we took Sterling off.

Magnificant 10 man display for me though. Play like that and we'll be fine.

Wahoo! Play nicely folks after all the nonsense of the last few weeks...

Well, have to say I'm split 50/50 between being very happy with the performance & being uber pissed off with a comedy referee.

Liverpool lost 2-1 to Mark Halsey today, don't normally berate officials as its a very hard job, but what a joke! 50/50 between Evans & Shelvy, it's either a yellow each or no action.

Then gifts United a pen from a blatent dive, not even contact, then gives scholes & RVP yellows for worse tackles than Shelvys!!!

Anyway, we battered united all over the park today, even with ten men, great performance all game & good spirit, team seem to be fighting for each other.

Can't believe we have lost Agger & Kelly to injury as if the day couldn't get any worse!

Anyway, there were signs of progress there in a big way today, there is a future star in the making of Stirling, we need to get him nailed down to a 5+ year contract ASAP, be absolutly criminal to lose him!

Looking forward to our next three league games, where 9 points is absolutly vital.

No panic here yet, we are yet again rebuilding, but that first victory is vital to keep morale up & get some momentum going.

Good to see it back. Hope everyone can play nicely haha.

Anyway on topic. I thought we played well today even with the result. Expected a bit of a hammering when shelves got sent off but was pleasantly surprised at the fight we showed. I thought sterling did well and was disappointed when he was taken off. I also think suso did very well when he came on.I was glad he brought borini off as he didn't seem to do much at all in the game.

Have to say Suarez is starting to get on my nerves with his constant moaning. There was one point in the game were van persie made in my opinion a good challenge (the one he was booked for) and rather than getting on with the game and joining in with the attack he stood and moaned at the referee. I also think that he would have Been given the penalty decision had he not have a reputation as a persistent diver.

On the upside if we keep playing like we did today I think we will quickly collect points and get back in the top half soon enough.

Agreed, good performance and good spirit shown, nice to see Suso come on, Sterling and Shelvey look to be cementing their places in the team and rightly so.

Someone needs to be shot with regards to our striker position.

Will be a real test with the injures and suspensions the next few games.

Thought you guys had your best game today, despite being a man down and against a decent united side, (who seem out of sorts at the moment, despite being up at the peak of the table).

Yeah the injuries to agger and kelly looked quite nasty. Could be long termers, hopefully not!

If that's the case I'd imagine Johnson to right bak, Enrique to left back and car rather to centre back with Coates as back up.

West brom on Wednesday, hopefully we'll get revenge for our defeat early this season. Wonder if Rodgers will play a full team or the reserves.

What went on between Shelvey and SAF?

I agree that the Shelvey/Evans tackle was 50:50 and both should have had the same sanction be it red card/yellow card/talking to, whatever.

I would rather Coates played than Carra, he is good IMO and we should be playing him to gel with the team. He also offers more of a goal threat then Carra and by god do we need help there!

I think he accused fergie of "grassing" him up to the ref trying to get him sent off. Apologized to fergie afterwards I believe.

Seen few more pics of the tackle now and Evans tackle was just as bad as shelves. Ah well that's just how it goes sometimes.
