I would rather Coates played than Carra, he is good IMO and we should be playing him to gel with the team. He also offers more of a goal threat then Carra and by god do we need help there!
I agree. Personally think carra should retire at the end of this season and take up a coaching job with the club.Should have been either yellow cards each or red cards each. Not a red card purely for Shelvey. The ball was there to be won.
Sadly took 0 points away but because we played Man Utd i'll be less gutted than say a beating by West Brom.
Positivity is that we aren't bottom of the league
Any updates on Agger?

Thank you very much for allowing us another thread!
Possibly bad for Agger. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/912950-danie...
Nothing yet on Kelly but it didn't look much better for him, At least he was able to hobble off though.

I think he accused fergie of "grassing" him up to the ref trying to get him sent off. Apologized to fergie afterwards I believe.
Seen few more pics of the tackle now and Evans tackle was just as bad as shelves. Ah well that's just how it goes sometimes.
Thought is was harsh too six of one & half a dozen of the other, Take into consideration Luiz's leg breaker on Walters yesterday that went unpunished & you can understand the players getting the hump wit inconsistent refereeing Seen few more pics of the tackle now and Evans tackle was just as bad as shelves. Ah well that's just how it goes sometimes.
Just seen this online too. Hopefully it is true as I would much prefer staying in a refurbished anfield rather than a new stadium.

Gotta be Coates rather than Carra and I think it will be because BR isn't afraid to use youngsters.
We have to look forward not back.
Well you say that but he had carra on the bench rather than coates. If that was the case you'd think coates would be on there. I do agree that coates needs to be the replacement though. We have to look forward not back.

Your next three Premiership games....
Norwich
Stoke
Reading
An easy 9 points, yes?
How do you think you'll do? Forget the 'we should' fan stuff, what do you really think you'll do...?
As long as we absolutely batter Reading I'll be happy.Norwich

Carra would have been on the bench before Coatez because of his experience. He's been in big games like derbys and Utd games.
On paper them teams don't look the best and i'd expect City, Utd, Chelsea to put goals past them and control the games without their first teams being on the pitch but the harsh reality is it won't be easy for us.
I'd be surprised if we got 6 points out of that 9.
Mourinho saying we won't win the league with this team (DUR, really?!) but also sayin Brendan needs alot of time

I have to say that was a sickener today, a real sickener. Just knew after reading this morning Fergie going on about them only getting one penalty at Anfield in 26 years that they would get one today, and a soft soft one at that, seriously like it absolutely unreal. Overall we played very well, fought hard but as usual have nothing to show for a grat effort. The sending off I said the minute I had seen it (before replay's) that Evans tackle was worse and I still think it was, though a sending off for neither player.

I read that and part of me thinks that'd be perfect. Then another part of me thinks this is the latest bit of American scumbag ownership where they're just squeezing as much profit out of us possible. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-...
Regardless I'll believe it when I see it. We're 2 years in and these sports franchise experts are still undecided on the stadium. A stadium that was a feature of the terms of the sale to them in the first place.
As for the proposed redevelopment, I wouldn't hold my breath. It'll take years just to buy back the houses we sold when we decided we were building a new stadium never mind force out those that didn't want to sell in the first place.
