Our only striker is a winger.

We've got a 17 year old on the wing who we are heavily relying on to spark a bit of creativity, seems to have been sussed out now.

Did I mention we've got no clear goalscorer?

I don't think a striker would have helped that much today, we've been quite poor all over the park. Stoke have just out-muscled us (in between the fouls) and we've not been good enough at passing around them to get any decent attempts on goal.
Managed to get one on to the post though! :-)

Is that 3 more for the woodwork stats today?

Yeah we've been outmuscled today, not good enough. Although a lot went unpunished in the first half by a poor referee.

Joe Cole has done nowt whilst Suso was looking good. Anyone spot Huths blatant shove in Suarez's back in the penalty area?

I make the woodwork count as four today btw.

Suarez got stamped on by Huth in the first half (along with all his other fouls)

Why they have any fans is a mystery.

Performance was a bit like my stream today, absolute gash.

Let's be honest, we didn't look like scoring a goal, at home, against Stoke, again.

We wouldn't break an egg in front of goal, to do that though we'd need to get the egg close to goal frown

Great work! UF, I don't know why I pay LOF. To be fair, it was pretty decent the other night.

It just said on Sky Sports that we've won twice at home in the league in 2012.

That must surely be the worst record in the league?

Yeah, apart from the times we hit the post or got a good save from their keeper.

How did they finish with all 11 players on the pitch? Did the ref forget his redcard

Is there anything else to do in Stoke?

I missed the Skrtel one, but the other times we hit the post didn't seem particularly worrying for begovic iirc. As ever, the stats make us out to be far better than we were.

We had very little idea in the last 3rd which meant we went back to Stevie for a hollywood ball time after time

The only person involved today worse than BR was the referee

The man is out of his depth. All show and no substance. God only knows what he was thinking when he bought that fat pieman on. Completely ruined any fluidity we had.

Can't see these Yanks sticking by him if he carries on like this.

It'll be an awful mistake if we lose patience with what BR is trying to achieve.

The style of football he wants us to play is spot on. If he is given time it could change our fortunes for the next 10+ years so we need to forget about instant success.

Striker is definitely a must ASAP though, but I think he must be well aware of that?

Don't like how loose we play at the back either, all this talk of strikers and yet it's the goals conceded so far that has been our undoing.
