I'm surprised Borini's ankle fracture (and the lack of strikers this now presents) has been given any air time on here.

It does pose a problem. We can't rely on Suarez (because he's intermittent at best).

Deary me, when that breaks out properly cant see him being in a job much longer:-

"(They) will turn all Liverpool supporters against you. The papers will say you cost the club you claim to love serious money, that you wilfully damaged the club".

"You know how crazy football fans are", he said, "You'll have dog st coming through your letterbox, you'll have to take your Facebook page down, you might even have to move house".

He repeated the stuff about dog st coming through my letterbox several times, reiterating that football fans, especially Liverpool FC fans, are crazy and would make my life a living hell.

Thank you very much for removing this, that "paper" was responsible for printing a lot of crap which was later proven to be just that. Please don't think we are being precious, we lost friends, family and work mates on the fated day only to be slagged off in the name of "journalism" by that abomination gutter press. Us Scousers have long memories. wink

Eh? That's a pretty myopic statement. Hooper scored more than Andy Carroll in the Championship and He opened his Champions League goalscoring account the other week. Start the bidding at £35M? biglaugh

I watched the first half and thought Walker was particularly poor.

Just watching on channel 5. I honestly don't think I'd be able to play for Rodgers, or atleast not anywhere near my best. He spouts so much nonsense and couldn't be more uninspiring if he tried

Can't see him lasting over 18 months

This being Liverpool doesn't get any better, I'm cringing at the science and sheer analysis that goes on for 90% of it to be forgotten the minute they go on the pitch.
I'm sure the players just tolerate it and pay lip service then do what they always do, it would be interesting to see a team and formation Gerrard put out on his own
