Not seen the game and it's a genuine question, was it a penalty?

Well done on getting to the prem, hope you use the money wisely!!

Penalty IMO, bit of a soft one but definitely a penalty.

I'm a Watford supporter. You deserved the win - we played so far below our potential it was painful.

Enjoy your £120m smile

Well, we have proper owners who were actual real supporters of the club. No foreign ownership which is fantastic for the club. I hope they keep Holloway for next season.

Just about got my head back since Monday.

Wow, just wow. What a great day.

We may get tonked every week next year. We may not, some weeks. We'll still be £120m better off, even if we are back in the championship this time next year. You might as well put a bet on us being relegated, everybody should share in our new-found wealth! We might just pull off a couple of surprises, you never know. It's all just a part of being on the CPFC rollercoaster. Enjoy.

Why get relegated? No one knows the line up at CPFC in August when the season starts. It certainly won't be the exact same team that won the match on Monday. The club now has money to spend, fantastic owners and a great manager. They will buy 3-4 experienced PL players to give them a solid backbone to stay up. I'm betting they will stay up with a comfortable margin and will end up just below mid table. Many were predicting relegation last season but instead they deservedly got promoted to the PL.

Sorry, I was being flippant and very happy with the 'underdog' tag.

Like you I'm quite happy to wait and see, but I'm just happy to be playing all the big guys next season instead of the weed, the neanderthals and the clowns...

biggrin We did manage to beat Chelsea this season! Looking forward to travelling over to Croydon next season. Well done on your promotion, you need to strengthen though.

Hold your horses! This is Palace?
That sounds far too sensible! I don't remember the last mid table/comfortably safe season. We either flirt with relegation or do well.

I think one or two prem teams may be surprised by the strength of our support these days too...

A season of much hilarity for Watford, Millwall, Charlton and of course Bright*n fans starts here as Palace undoubtedly get regularly stuffed.

The only thing is that (for the time being anyway) Palace are in the premier league and the others are not, and even if we get relegated next May we'll still be millions better off.
