So, is it better to be losing in the premier or winning in the championship?

Yesterday was abject and woeful and we should have lost by more. We will get severe stuffings from most prem teams if we play like that every week. But hopefully we won't play like that every week and there will still be some fun, some upsets and some wins over the next few months. Once again, the fans were magnificent and deserve better.

We all knew this would be painful a lot of the time. However, £120M helps.

O'Neill's odds are shortening apparently. I'm happy to trust Steve P to do the right thing but I'm comfortable with either him or Pulis, albeit different styles of play.

Poor Ollie looked like he needed a month off. Honest, hardworking and dedicated. Sad end to his tenure but i think he'd lost the plot by the end, if not a couple of weeks ago.

Onwards and upwards. COYP!

How many words do you reckon the motd guys will waste on us?
"plucky Palace"
"well organised defence"
"made the best of less technically able players"
"came to try and snatch a point"

These, or a variation of them, all to be expected within a one-minute analysis. Who cares?

Norwich is far more important, but a display to be proud of today. #COYP

Happy today. Some great business there, quality over quantity and every reason for some optimism now... smile

Very painful watching Wilf do it for Cardiff today. It would've been bad enough watching him playing for ManUre, but this really grates.

Moyes really is a knob.

Couple of tough games next, I'd be very happy if we could get two points from Everton (a) and ManUre (h).

Great debuts from Ince and Ledley, plus fantastic to see FFS return.

Pulis is doing a great job.

You're angry... I went all the way up there (from France) to watch it and I was bloody fuming too. Only got home again yesterday. We did have a good night out there saturday except when conversation briefly returned to that effing ref. Tw4t.

Is it a mustn't lose or must win at the weekend?
I'm in the musn't lose mindset, pick up points, don't care how ugly it is, just get them on the board.
It's technically neither, but if Palace lose it would drag us back into the mire, although still not too desperate. A draw would be fine. I still think Norwich at at risk...

More to the point the man deserves a fat new extended contract. Miracle worker. I'm in love.

Very proud to be a Palace fan today.

Fantastic effort by everyone at the club, including CPFC2010, Tony Pulis, all the players and of course the best fans in the country.

I'm very proud of Palace this season. There is no shame in losing to a team assembled for squillions. Our boys are packed and almost on the beach, and well earned too. I expect we'll give Liverpool a game, but I also expect a similar result to yesterday's.

I have no problem with Liverpool winning it, or Citeh, or Chelsea. Just not ManUre... rofl

From ManUre thread:

Hopefully sir Bobby knows exactly who we`re going to buy, not that he's creating unrealistic expectations or anything...

I'm more confident of next season than I was when I heard ol' Davey Moyes was taking over from SAF. Van Gaal seems like a good manager, although I'm not sure how his and Wayne Rooney's relationship is going to be, but hopefully Van Gaal being there will spark RVP back into that killer form that won us the league last year.
From Brighton thread:
Elsalvador said:
Shame about the result yesterday, Brighton controlled the game but Derby were devastating on the counter attack..

Their goals were pretty lucky, the penalty was unnecessary to give away, I thought Brighton should have had two penalties at the very least!

Hopefully we can pull it back on sunday smile
Says it all really....

Steve Clarke and Martin Jol also in the frame, apparently... Happy to let Steve Parish call it, after all he has to work with whoever gets it!

I'm not hugely excited, but I'm not too sure if anybody would have achieved that. He definitely has potential. He'll be judged by results, so let's hope he's here for a couple of seasons at least!

5hit storm.

I'm getting frustrated that we can't just have a couple of years of stability.

Good luck to Steve Parish, I wouldn't do what he does for all the 5hit in Cardiff tea in China...
