Very poor display against West Ham. Rudderless, poor motivation, very much in need of a firm hand on the tiller and one or two new faces. Some shocking performances yesterday and need for a new manager is obvious. With the window closing in a week these are a few critical days, I hope Steve Parish is made of stern stuff. The only way is up...

I'm am confused but I think we'll stay up with Neil at the helm especially as they're integrating Millen into a role that will work alongside him......don't know what will happen about Puncheon though!
Water under the bridge. If he's a professional he'll just get on with his job as a player or he'll get replaced.Silver993tt said:

To be honest Fergie retiring was the worst possible thing for Wilf. Whether or not Wilf was misbehaving with Moyes daughter, loaning him to Cardiff was terrible for him. He has incredible talent which needs nurturing but Moyes had no idea. Obviously OGS at Cardiff had some sway with his old mates at ManUre in order to get Wilf to go there but it clearly was unsuccessful. So although he's obviously been well paid, he's lost a year of his career and also much of his confidence and England potential. However, he is loved at Palace and we know what he can do. We welcome him back with open arms and I'm sure he'll be terrorising defenders very soon, starting tomorrow at Newcastle. As I said before, new era. Hopefully.

I think the whole daughter thing was nonsense, his main issue seems to have been getting a bit big for his boots and thinking he had made it just by signing for us. An example is this seasons tour in the US. LvG told the whole team they could take a day off, but that he and all the coaches would be there in the training pitches if they wanted to do extra training. The whole team understood the implication and turned out for training the next day, only one player was missing As I said before, new era. Hopefully.
I like him and would like him to be a success I just hope being back at Palace with his mates etc grounds him a bit again, I think he could be a big talent.
