Well, that’s that then. What a fantastic season, ok, we should have finished top ten and above the Weed but given that we were tipped to go down it couldn’t have gone better culminating in a win over Man Ure! I’ll take that, roll on August.
Hear hear.

We're just lulling them into a false sense of security. Normal service will be resumed next season wink

With great respect, have you sat through 90 mins of any Palace games lately? Turgid and depressing stuff and PV simply had no idea how to change things. Same selections, same tactics, same substitutions. Definition of madness....

Appointing Roy is actually a positive step imho. It's only for ten games. We get Ray Lewington too, which is a big plus. They know the club and almost all the players inside out. There's little comparison with his appointment at Watford. He's the only manager we've had that has kept us in the PL for 4 years running.

Yes, we might have to put up with some 'pragmatic' football, but if we stay up then I guess it's worth it. However, in my view Patrick V definitely had to go.

Getting on for a year since anyone posted on here. It's been pretty grim for the last couple of months up until Liverpool, Man City and Brighton. Even the second half of tonight's game v Brighton was pretty turgid and they deserved the draw.

Have we turned the corner? Not sure, but let's see if Santa Parish brings in one or two proper players in January...

Well, we've been subjected to turgid football for 18 months now apart from a little blip of good form at the end of last season following Vieira's sacking. Let's hope Roy is gone very soon or we are back in the Championship come April.

Shocking, abysmal performance today. So depressing.

Three months is a long time in football. Palace are transformed and great to watch under Oliver Glasner.

Never been a Palace supporter but tonight I'm cheering your lads on as much as my own team. Tearing Manure apart, brilliant, thanks.
A Toon supporter, Howay the Palace Lads.
