Not a massive football fan but as West Brom born and bred i follow them from a distance.

Is this present form and 4th in the premiership for real and just how far can they go, i assume you could probably buy the whole of the baggies 1st team for the equivalent of one Man City player which just goes to show what a achievement it is to be where they are.

Us brits traditionally love the underdogs in sport so long may it continue, reminds me of the comedy Jamaican Bobsleigh team film,

No they won't.

Unless you can name 10 teams that have a better squad.

Go.

yes You always get an unfancied side punch above their weight for the first half of the season, they then tail off through injuries or lack of belief etc.

Playing bloddy well though the Baggies.

Playing some really good stuff.

As a Middlesbrough fan I'm gutted but happy to see James Morrison playing so well for them.

Clarke is doing a cracking job. Well on target for manager of the year. He seems quite quiet and modest to be fair too.

But isnt it great for the game that some of the underdogs can do it over the big ones with all the money, i would welcome any of the lower teams to do likewise.

The most promising sign is that our squad players seem to perform when brought into the team (Myhill for Foster, for instance) so ther is some strength in depth. We rely heavily on Mulumbu and Yacob in midfield (combined transfer cost £125,000!), so the real test will be when one of them is unavailable.
Still, it's a great time to be a Baggie!

Not the best time in the world to be your local rivals and have Baggies fans as mates.

Trust me on that..

Go.
City
United
Chelsea
Arsenal
Tottenham
Everton
Liverpool
Newcastle

Fulham, West Ham, Sunderland and Swansea will all be competing with WBA for the 9th position onwards in my eyes.

Sunderland?!

How have you worked that out? They can't score goals (apart from against ten men apparently)

Liverpool would be on about 3 points if they didn't have Suarez, the rest of the squad is crap. (awaits flaming from people who still think Liverpool are one of the 'big four')

I'm a Liverpool fan smile I know we aren't one of the big 4, these days the big 3.

Sunderland are always up there. It's not even a third through the season yet so there are still 26 games left smile
