3rd place in '79 behind Liverpool and Everton. That was the first year I watched WBA, so it's nice to watch a successful team again after 33 years! I remember the 78/79 Albion team, that team finished top 4 IIRC?

Makes you laugh when other 'top team' fans complain and whine because they were only 3rd, or 5th, and so on.
To be fair to you guys, you nicked one back and stayed in contention in the 2nd half.
But as my fellow supporter says, I reckon some of the best teams in Europe would have struggled to cope with our first half performance last night. We were peerless in attack.
