Best and worst signings of this season?

Spurs signing Adebayor on a permanent deal was the worst.
That depends on your point of view Michu's got to be the best financially but in terms of impact I'd ray RVP at Man U especially as if they hadn't signed him he was going to Man City. The top of the PL would probably look quite different if he'd gone to the Blue side of Manchester.
Best - James Vaughan season long loan to Huddersfield from Norwich
Without him there is no chance we'd have stayed up (we still might not) but not only is he a quality player, he just never stops running, throwing himself into things he shouldn't (reason for so many injuries so young) and firing up the rest of the players when the chips are down
Had he not suffered so much with injuries there is no chance he would have ever ended up at a club like ours. He would have had a decent career with Everton for sure and I think he'll still go on to have a few seasons at the lower end of the Premier League if he can stay fit like he has the second half of the season

I'd expect you've got an option to sign him at the end of the season. He only played 6 games for Norwich last season because of various injuries. I agree he is a decent player when 100% fit and its a real shame it never worked out for him at Norwich. Apparently he was homesick and didn't settle down here, that why he went out on loan.Without him there is no chance we'd have stayed up (we still might not) but not only is he a quality player, he just never stops running, throwing himself into things he shouldn't (reason for so many injuries so young) and firing up the rest of the players when the chips are down

We've got a shed load of scousers on the books and he is only 1 hour from home so explains why he is so settled hereWhen was Nastasic signed for Man City? He's been brilliant for them and he's only just turned 20.
Benteke has done brilliantly for the Villa.
RvP hit the ground running at Man U and even though he's not scored much recently, he's been invloved in almost every game and putting a good shift in.
Michu is great to watch, makes everything look so effortless in a similar way to Berbatov and has scored at a phenomenal rate for the proce Laudrup paid.
Dembele has been very good for Spurs and seems to be underrated. Bale steals the plaudits at Tottenham and Dembele seems to go a little unnoticed despite his brilliance in CM all season. I thought Spurs would really miss Modric for creativity in midfield, but Dembele has excelled in the role.
Maicon - came from Inter and is probably on huge wages. Can't get into the team at all and when he did play, wasn't anything to shout about.
Samba - came in for huge money and hasn't delivered at all, Michu rolled him easily when they played Swansea and hasn't been the dominant force at the back that everyone thought he'd be. Will no doubt be sold at a massive loss at the end of the season.

Signings like Rodwell and Sinclair by City you just have to wonder why City wanted them.
had to single this line out to comment. sinclair, absolutely. johnson out and sinclair in for what is effectively the same job, was a bad piece of business.rodwell however has looked ok when fit. he's been injured most of the season though. i'm holding my judgement on him back until he has a run of 15 games or so.

I agree on Rodwell, he looks a player for half a game until he breaks again. He's moved nearer the training ground, swapped cars, started yoga and even bought a new pillow to try and fix his hammy twanginess! He's supposedly fit again for tonight, so hopefully he'll get a good run from now.rodwell however has looked ok when fit. he's been injured most of the season though. i'm holding my judgement on him back until he has a run of 15 games or so.
I'd say Javi Garcia has been pretty awful signing especially for 15 million and he's had the most game time out of all the summer signings. Hopefully he'll come good next season.

I know this is mainly aimed at the Premiership but I'd like to mention Brett Pitman as best signing on the season. Arrived back at Bournemouth in the January transfer window for just £60k and scored his 18th goal of the season for us last weekend and scored in his last 7 consecutive games.
