Just to clarify, predictions need to be in by 12 on a Friday for weekends but for a week night game by the KO?

Shirley it would be better to have an agreed cut off time for week night games as well? Say 7.30, regardless of a 7.45 or 8.00 KO?

You get plenty of notice of the matches anyway, having it as kick off means that in 90% of matches you have until 7:43 to get em in, which can be handy if it's a horrible day at work.

Some people are working during the week and need the grace of as much time as possible as they have to commute home.

Not scousers, obviously. wink

Hark at the newbie over here trying to dictate the rules.

This is an established little club me bucko so toe the line or the inner sanctum committee will have to have a little meeting and discuss matters, capeesh?

I'll donate a prize. A 3kg bag of high quality dog food. No dog? Get one or eat it yourself.

That'll do for Hornetrider.

He doesn't have many pals and his team doesn't Winalot.

A Goon, 2 Scousers, Farmhand and a Manc eh?

Won't matter...A Spud'll win it (again) with a Saint in close proximity...just more grist to the mill. biggrin

I'm expecting another good season from the Spuds yes Er...E31 gets a dispensation from the above paragraph. hehe

Plenty of time yet, he's probably waiting for all the envelopes to arrive. Sent mine early this season.

You know you've got to put something inside the envelope right.

Thats where the northerners are getting it wrong apparently...

Well, back from my cricket tour, and no brown envelopes have been received, so it seems I will win this year!

Here are the fixtures for week 1; please have your predictions posted by midnight this Friday! Remember, make sure you list the scores without dashes thus:

0 2
1 3
3 0
etc
and make sure you post as many scores as there are games! Best of luck to all.

Week 1
Arsenal v Aston Villa
Chelsea v Hull City
Crystal Palace v Tottenham
Liverpool v Stoke City
Manchester City v Newcastle United
Norwich City v Everton
Sunderland v Fulham
Swansea City v Manchester United
West Bromwich Albion v Southampton
West Ham United v Cardiff City
