Anyway seeing as you are SO vociferous about the thon remaining in tact can we assume in the event of im not being allowed back you will be stepping up and running it?

If im wants to run it we could always post everything as normal, he can still collate all the results etc. All he needs to to is email a copy of the table to BCM who can post it here.

We can set up an email list for the bantz amongst ourselves to include everyone's favourite accountant.

Unfortunately i wouldn't have the time to manage the thon, i will certainly miss it if nobody takes over next season along with others that have expressed their desire to carry on next August. i also agree with lots of other regular football forum users that the forum is poorer without Im. If the shoe was on the other foot & it was your good self wishing to return after a ban then i wouldn't have any problems giving my support.

We all ( well i do ) come on here for a bit of a giggle & enjoy reading the opinions of other football teams supporters, Were all grown ups apart from the CIE .( only joking fella )

I don't want to argue about it i just want to see Ian back on the football forum & i want to carry on predicting results in the thon next season.

Theres plenty out there ,but they are all advert laden & numbered codes are required & you will still need a administrator , Your idea for IM to do it via e-mail is a good one , not sure if he or the mods would like it though.

I am sure he's still reading all the posts on the forum so maybe he will get in contact before August if he's not allowed back in, i'm guessing if he wishes to do this via e mail then it would have to be by invitation only.

There are 2 arguments here though the continuance of the thon and im returning they are not inter connected.

With regard to the thon it does appear as if everyone wants it to happen but no one is willing to sacrifice the time, that's a shame, there are still other options to be explore such as external sites or a sharing of the running between people.

im returning is a separate issue and one I am sure has been raised with the mods several times by yourself, mickk and others, I don't agree with this thread being used as an excuse to bring him back, we've all seen posters we liked get banned but it's on them, from what I understand it's actually pretty difficult to annoy the mods that much that they blanket ban you with no hope of return so I'm not sure im is quite the saint he is being painted as.

How do these predictor websites work? I want to continue in the 'Thon next season but unfortunately my work schedule is too sporadic, I can only guarantee to have the time to do it between October and January as I'm barely in the office then. If there were people willing to share the load, I'd cover those months.
