The Rooney links aren't going away. I just can't imagine him wearing an Arsenal shirt. If reports are to be believed (which they shouldn't be) we are going to place a 20 million pound offer.
Isn't he on 250k a week at united? Not a chance in hell him getting that with us. Not sure he'd be worth it either.

I actually think our system would suit Torres very well, having said that I think Mourinho will not let him go to be honest. If we can get Higuain, I would be happy but I'm not counting my chickens just yet.

True, he would fit in. If we can get Higuain, I would be happy but I'm not counting my chickens just yet.
I quite like Giroud, so just one striker bought this window will do IMO.
Excellent. A shiny new thread in time for a shiny new season.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Rooney at Arsenal. I'd be suspicious of him to begin with but if he finds the form he showed a few years ago at United he will be an excellent signing. In terms of wages we should be paying etc I've honestly stopped caring about that. I just want to see good football and top players and am trying to ignore the debate about if players are worth x amount a week or not. It'd be good for us to smash that wage ceiling if anything, higher wages than we pay right now are necessary to be competitive.
Torres? Exactly the kind of player we don't need. He's played like a broken man since he left Liverpool.
