Much maligned player IMHO....he got played out of position because of the full back injury crisis a couple of years ago and never regained his confidence. Year before that he was absolutely key to the defence.

If I remember rightly he was our best defender not so long ago. Had a wounderful game againts Barca.Also good to read about a player prioritising playing football over his bank balance
