Missed most of what sounded like a dire first half due to being out speccying on the Somerset Stages, before watching the second half in the pub....and driving home and listening to extra time/pens on the radio as I just couldnt take it any more! Bloody ridiculous this football lark! We really do look like a side that is scared of losing and has no confidence at the moment. Still its the result that matters!

So happy we are in the final, can't wait for it!

It wasn't pretty, but we're through to the final. Some of you must be devastated.
Yes, the Spurs fans mainly.
Interestingingingly, I am a bit relieved in a not relieved way. If you had lost, Wenger may well have left. We want van Gaal as our new manager. Obviously, he'd prefer to go to the Emirates. Any right minded manager would.

On the other hand, if you win the final, it may well be a good time for Wenger to leave with honour. This would also open the door to the Dutchman.

Football can be darned complicated sometimes.

John Cross: Roy Keane is great pundit. But why on earth would he mock Arsenal celebrations when ITV had told us for 2hours how important the FA Cup was?

hehe

On a more serious note, I've just read that Bob Wilson is being treated for prostate cancer. Get well soon Bob.

+1 My family & his have known one another for years. Bob is a true gent, which I realise is not news, but I echo the sentiment entirely.

Saw this yesterday a true gent and a gooner through and through. Would love to see him and Pat at the final. Wish them both all the best.

Watching Getafe vs Atletico it looks like Diiego Costa has injured himself very badly scoring the second goal.

Two inch gash in his shin, open to the bone. He may not play again this season.

Err nerr, sterk in the cerr perk! - Just the silliest accent in the world, not really english though as Hull is 40 mile outside the country! But as for footballing matters the Tigers will get stuffed (and mounted) if that defence turns up against us.
However we could contrive to make you look like world beaters as we did with Real Wigan.

I was lucky enough to meet him and his wife Megs a few years ago as part of a Willow Foundation fund raiser.....I think it tells you all you need to know about them as people that they have done so much for other people after losing their own daughter at such a young age.

Wouldn't it be great to see him and Pat Rice be part of the FA Cup Final.

Marca says it's not serious: http://www.marca.com/movil/2014/04/13/futbol/1adiv...

And that he was at training this morning.
