When you see goals like that it's hard to think that Podolski can go missing for game after game and not score a goal for weeks.
Also a quality goal from Giroud.
I think Podolski doesnt get any service and we dont play to his strengths, he's a prolific finisher, way better than Giroud when he gets the right service in the box, we keep playing him on the wing which isnt him at all, although he is a good crosser. Several times today he was going mental, mostly at Vermaelen when he was free and Vm just passed it sideways to Rosicky instead, who was having a complete mare today. Lets not forget his international stats are nigh on the same as Bobby Charlton, Englands best ever. Also a quality goal from Giroud.
Read an article by Amy Lawrence in The Guardian today....she was speculating that Giroud/Podolski would do well as the two in a more traditional 4-4-2 formation.. She asked Wenger about it who said something about that with current injuries he hasn't got the right players to play in the wide positions and that he had given it a lot of thought. Interesting thought .....
I don't think I have EVER wanted a Tony Pullis side to win a game before.

S'ok, it's not the same as wanting him as the next manager!!I don't think I have EVER wanted a Tony Pullis side to win a game before.
I thought you were worth the points last night, win or lose tonight the race will still be on for fourth place and I have to say this has really added some spark to our season since we crashed out of the cup to you lot. Thought Kallstrom played very well, he's a loan signing isn't he? Well done Arsene, good bit of management that, maybe Martinez could learn a thing or two from you...oh hang on.

Better late than never. Sags may well still go, but a bit of experience and consistency is the way forward for us.
I'd be gutted if Sagna left....he's been a great player apart from when he was getting over breaking his leg twice.Favourite moment has to be that goal he got just before half time when Spuds were 2-0 up at The Emirates (and should have been more!)...proper moment of defiance which took us to that maazing 5-2 victory.
Kozzer is contracted til 2017 according to the papers this morning....clearly he needs to be paid in line with the other top players though. Superb player now.

Sagna offered a more 'agreeable' contract; Koscielny a better one. If the reports are true: that's more like it!
