Sounds like from Wenger's press conference that they are waiting to know that we qualify for the CL before buying anyone else. I suppose the good news is that means that whoever they are thinking of is a big ticket then...they aren't going to be waiting if the player in mind is a £5mil bargain basement acquisition.

Woke up stupidly early this morning (it's my 30th so expected a lay in at least!) and my other half has got me a arsenal shirt, tickets for today's game and hotel for the night! Not been to the Emirates before, went Highbury a few times, proper excited, driving up to London now! She also got me tickets for superbikes at Silverstone in October, not a bad girlfriend!

Happy birthday chap, will always love Highbury, but there's something about walking up the steps to see the Emirates pitch, You'll see what i mean. Perfection

Also love the way you walk down an innocuous side street and walk round a corner to be confronted with the massive edifice of The Emirates...juxtaposition with what's around it is incredible. Especially at night.

Gosh....Arsenal have been really boring and disappointing this game.

Just got done on a set piece which was inevitable, they almost conceded in the first 30 secs.

The scoreline is definitely flattering Arsenal. They're going to need to step it up in second half.
