Olivier Giroud will never win Arsenal the league - it's been said a million times before but Arsenal seriously need a world class striker.
Nope but our midfield just might.I love the idea of a mobile and very pacy front three of The Ox, Sanchez and Walcott playing in front of Ramsey , Ozil and Arteta.
Maybe Wenger sees one of Walcott or Sanchez playing in the middle...I don't see either being left out when fit.
I'm at the end of my tether with Giroud. He's a championship player at best. We won't win the title without a striker who is going to get 20+ goals regardless of who plays in our midfield.
Unfortunately, we still need three signings. I had hoped bringing in a defensive midfielder would complete our squad. However we still need another defender and now a quality striker without a doubt.

That said if he was going to play Alexis in the middle he could easily play The Ox on the right and not have to wait for Walcott so maybe you're right.
long term its probably a good thing but anyone else baffled as to why Arsne has let the Germans have so much time off? Apparently Arsne still isn't sure if they'll be ready for Everton. Ozil i can just about understand giving him a little longer but Mert and Podolski should be bloody ready.
The rest of the German squad to my knowledge have been playing for their clubs for the past couple of weeks.

HE is reported to have said " bring them back too soon in August and loose them again in September "
But if as you say other Germans have been playing for their clubs then I don't know

Maybe they are all hanging around with Khedira to persuade him to the club...The rest of the German squad to my knowledge have been playing for their clubs for the past couple of weeks.

Sad news if true, I bloody love Podolski. A real character
with sparks of brilliance
Reported in quite a few places this morning and seems there are actual quotes.
If were serious about a real push for the title i cant see selling Podders as being a wise move. When Ramsey got injured last season he came into a lot of games and scored some vital goals. Theres obviously something he does to ps off coaches as he hardly got a look in at the world cup but you cant really argue with his finishing.
