OK I've decided that whenever i watch it live I jinx the team :
Newcastle 4-4 after we were up 4-0 at HT.
Liverpool away last year.
Most of the Barcelona encounters over the past few years (although these might have been expected).

Not saying they are the only live matches I watch :-)

Im now going to switch off and I'll check later after I get back from dinner :-)

Good luck boys !

This may be a blessing in disguise. We've got just over week left in the transfer window, this will underline the need to get the extra centre half and defensive midfielder we're crying out for.

Personally, I can't see us getting back in to this at the moment.

What a result that is for you chaps given the way the match has gone.

Fair result overall considering Everton's dodgy second.

That was an alarmingly poor performance. Once again we lacked any tempo in our play as well as leadership. We need a midfielder general urgently more than anything else.

Everton were excellent but we managed to profit when they tired towards the end of the game. Just about a fair result.

For long periods in the game it looked like we were bereft of ideas and playing on treacle. As Alfa said, simply no tempo to our play. Hope Alexis is OK and Wenger took him off with Wed in mind.

I don't support any epl teams but I enjoy watching Arsenal, but they really are screaming out for a dominant midfielder and have been for several years, easy to say but in the mould of Vieira, tougher trying to find him though, but I can't believe Wenger has never made this his priority, he's bought guys like ozil, who you don't need, as you have plenty of his ilk, good ability but lacking heart and defensive awareness, and most shamefully commitment, khedeira would probably be the most obvious choice currently but I just can't fathom why for years this hasn't been addressed when it's so obvious that's what is required, it's not the only weakness I won't even bother with Wilshire etc, but it's puzzled me that a very intelligent man doesn't appear to see the very obvious

Watched the second half....we just looked so off the pace. Changed when Campell (who I thought had a few good moments) and Cazorla came on....as they said on the box Everton looked out on their feet.

Overall probably a fair result but we were very lucky and would have deffo taken a point before the game started.

Midfield is struggling for cohesion as a unit and as Alfa said we need some quality in fron of that back four.

I see the media is starting to question the form of Alexis. Good grief, he's been he five minutes and trying to find his feet in the team. A team which just isn't clicking right now.

I guess that is to be expected when you look at the way Costa , Fabregas & Courtios has hit the ground running.

I know Fabregas is an exception but you get what i mean

Still cannot believe you didn't sign him .

Well I think it was an unusual game to pick for him to play up top.....I suspect it was an attempt at a "False 9" by Wenger and just didn't work. I honestly can't remember the last time Wenger replaced a player because of how he was playing at half time....it was a tactical more than a player change yesterday. Alexis literally didn't touch the ball in Everton's box!

Worth remembering that we're playing with a different midfield this season....last year we played 4-2-3-1, this year it's been much more like 4-1-4-1
