Didn't explain myself properly...Ozil would be in the hole. Obviously Welbeck would be up front normally but I don't see why Walcott and Alexis can't switch sides and even for Welbeck to play on the flank sometimes with Alexis or Walcott up top.
I just can't see us playing effectively a front 4.

Quite.

Mancs giving it the biggun having signed Falcao and mocking us for signing Welbeck has made this weekend all the more satisfying.

Still, I'm sure come the end of the season the outcome will be different.

Ozil and Welbeck scored superb goals yesterday. In particular the pass from Welbeck for the first goal was outstanding and then a sumptuous cross from Ozil for Welbeck.
.
They were great together smile

With Wenger messing around I thought Arsenal would be struggling for 4th place...but it looks like he's pulled his head out his arse and played his best player in his best position. (Rocket science I know).

If he continues with that Top 4 will be no problem for you lot.

Our back four had a combined age of Rio Ferdinand.

Sorted that winkhehe

Credit to Southampton, watched it on the web and they played well. They well deserve their second place currently. Good to see Diaby get 65 mins.

Listening to it on the radio it sounds like a very well deserved Soton win.....can't help but applaud them as a club.

You have to be disappointed that some of the bench warmers didn't step up....decent bet that could be Poldi's last start in an Arsenal shirt. Shame he doesn't put in as much effort on the pitch as he does to posting on Twitter!

Saints fan here. Thankyou for this, I heard it on the radio and it sounded like a well deserved win, but also a great game of football. 2 teams trying to play football the way that fans like to see it. 2 great goals and many chances for both teams. I know that Arsenal have a number of other players, but it was not a really weak team you put out and I am sure that come the league games, the fans will be entertained again.

No it wasnt, and it never will be. Bloody perma-crocked idiot is the reason taking up valuable money which could be used to sign a player we actually need. I have never seen anything like him in football. To only play 40-odd games over four years is staggering. I wonder in which other profession if you turned up for work for only 40 days would you still be paid millions.

He what? 28 now? That is crazy! He will only take longer to recover with each injury. If he hasnt stayed injury free when he was younger, there is no way he will remain injury free over the next few years. Wenger is deluded to keep him on.
