In a nutshell ... the mid-table no-hopers from years gone by on their day can surprise even the best teams ... it's more even now ...
I Disagree, I think the top teams have become more st to be frank.

Wow, that was a shocker....

The booing was one thing....the vitriol in one voice another.

Wenger is completely in denial, and talking to the fans and admitting mistakes is not in his make up......which is a pity as i think we could all be bought with a bit of honesty.
I want a great Arsene Wenger at the Helm.....not the man who stands in front of the cameras and repeats himself week in week out believing its giving us enough.

He surely never watches his post match interviews......and if he does !!!!!!
They're comedy gold!

Saying the team were grieving when you went 5 games without a win in April 2010 after being knocked out of 3 competitions in a week eclipses the 'I didn't see it' comments.

Maybe a bit of both - you can't say that on their day teams like Swansea aren't capable of springing a surprise ... (and not just on you lot)

Wenger has announced the team for tomorrows game against Galatasaray:

Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers, Bellerin, Ox, Flamini, Ramsey, Campbell, Sanogo, Podolski

The bench is apparently full of U-21/youth players

Interesting......

I hate seeing how divided the fans have become, somebody at the club needs to speak out as things are only going to get worse.
It's horrendous. I remember there being some division over George Graham towards the end of his reign, however not to the extent it is over Wenger.

The only correct action the club should take is to dismiss Wenger immediately. Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen as the board is full of spineless bds.

Just seen it. He'll dismiss it as a minority, however I'm not so sure it's a minority anymore.
Bunch of inbred s abusing an old man who has given his all for the club. I'd like to think that's not the majority. I'd like a change, but I won't stoop as low as some so called Arsenal fans. Have a bit of fking class about yourselves.

I've never been so embarrased to be an Arsenal fan after seeing that.
Spot on, it's digusting! I really don't think any half decent Arsenal fan can possibly agree with that behaviour. Even if you want Wenger out, you have to find that OTT. He has done far too much for the club to be treated like that. Maybe these fans don't remember pre Wenger days?

The one thing I will agree with Alfahorn on is that it certainly seems the majority of fans are now turning on Wenger. Very divided fan base now.

I didn't see the Stoke game or the highlights yet, but sounds like a pretty shambolic performance. Arteta often gets a bit of stick from arsenal fans around me at games, for being "Mr Safe", but I have to say, in the Southampton game we really missed him, possibly a factor in Stoke as well? Flamini is a poor replacement in that role.

Seems to be a major lack of confidence and self belief within the team, without any leaders on the pitch. I really thought BFG was the man to be a Tony Adams figure at the back, but he just isn't with it. It probably hasn't helped having Nacho as a centre back pairing, but now Koscielny and Debuchy are back, maybe we can get that defence actually organised. Ramsey, again, watching him against Southampton last week, totally different player to last season, some awful awful balls. I would have thought Sanchez's addition to the team, and his performances, would be enough to get the other players going. I agree that Wenger should take some of the blame for this, but I also want to see the players take some responsibilty.

I am still getting up off the floor from that Rambo volley....

He is a confidence player who has been absolutely awful this season compared to last, hopefully this will turn it around for him getting a few goals, evident by that perfect free kick just with the outside of his foot just now.

The job's already 1/2 done this season. We've qualified from the group stage (£16M) now W only needs to secure 4th for another (£) successful season.
The cash cow rocks on. Well done W the accountant.

Quite. An accountant who can qualify for the knock out stages of the Champions League for 12 years in a row. rofl

What a completely moronic thing to say.
