Wenger or W (spelt with a silent 'anker')is an accountant with zero footballing nouse or ambition. We need rid.
Wow, imagin what he might have achieved if he knew something about football.....
Quite. An accountant who can qualify for the knock out stages of the Champions League for 12 years in a row. rofl

What a completely moronic thing to say.
In principle, it's about right IMHO. I'm sure Wenger's financial accumen as a result of having a degree in economics is the reason the board have kept faith with him, as opposed to almost 10 years of trophy-less results prior to last season which would have seen many a not so astute manager being shown the door by most other club boards way before then.

Something to do with him securing £8M P/A ?

i disagree.... it may well get a hiding but it shouldn't .. its good enough to beat Galatasaray. but herein lies the problem !
I'll give you that. biggrin

I was concerned before tonight as I felt Gala would have enough to trouble us. Unfortunately, they are a very poor side and we blitz them in the first 30 mins.

We played well tonight. For once I can go to bed happy that we've performed well.

Isn't it now 15? Once you're there though you have to do something. One semi-final in 14 years is a bit of a poor show.

Just read an Independant headline that read Arsene Wenger asks not to be judged "after every single game"

He cant seriously think the booing and vitriol was down to the stoke game.............. surely ?

He lives in a bubble. As previously said he's always been protected and is only now seeing the harsh feedback from his years of incompetence and inaction. 'In 2 seasons this side will win the PL ....'

Wenger has announced the team for tomorrows game against Galatasaray:

Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers, Bellerin, Ox, Flamini, Ramsey, Campbell, Sanogo, Podolski

The bench is apparently full of U-21/youth players

Interesting......
That side will get a fking hiding tomorrow night.

He made my blood boil when I heard him say in a news conference that he should be judged at the end of the season. I'm judging him on the last 10 seasons and on that basis.......bye, bye!!

40 opportunities to win silverware in that time and only 1 trophy to show for it.

Fantastic technique. Hopefully he's back on form with the brace last night and the goal at the weekend.

He didn't look like he could hit a barn door this time last week!

Good. I went to bed literally as soon as the game ended as I get up at 5 so didn't see the post match interviews.

One thing is for sure.....we've got nobody else. Any more injuries and Zelalem will be getting some game time.

So much for that then, Ramsey out for possibly 4 weeks and Koscielny not back for Newcastle. All we need now is for Mertesacker to get a knock and we'll have the reserves playing.
