Disgrace of a first half, if we were playing a half decent side we would be getting stuffed again..

I'm sick and tired of the media love in for Wenger, he deserves all the grief he gets. This is an Arsenal side with some absolutely fantastic players in it but he can't set up the side, there is no shape and I can't understand for the life of me how he's come to the conclusion that Debuchy should play at centre half rather than Chambers. Flamini s a dangerous, headless chicken and wouldn't be anywhere near the squad if we didn't have the injuries we have if it was up to me.

Fed up again, really fed up.

27 fking shots at our goal, 27 that was a fking disgrace.

Oh hang on, I meant to tow the line. Look what he's done for the club, be careful what you wish for, blah, blah, blah. The battle of Hastings was in 1066 are we going to keep banging on about that as well.

We were lucky today because we should have been absolutely fking battered. Could have easily conceded 10.

Couldn't agree more.

We were terrible, giving possesion away constantly and generally running around clueless.

Getting fed up of watching us play and not being able to switch tactics when things aren't working out.

Martin Keown and Phil Neville have just been pretty forthright over our shambolic performance on MotD2.

Some stats I read

Arsenal faced more shots (27) on Sunday than they have in any other Premier League game for eleven years - since Opta started collecting data in 2003.

The Gunners have dropped 11 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season. They only dropped nine in the whole of the 2013/14 campaign.

Alexis Sanchez won more tackles (3) against Liverpool than Mathieu Debuchy, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs combined (1)

Arsenal's 35 per cent share of possession at Anfield was their lowest since Opta began gathering stats eleven years ago.

The north London club have managed just one win against the Premier League's top seven sides since last Christmas. The full record reads: D L D L D W L D L D D D L L D.

Arsenal have not won an away game in which they have conceded since January (when they claimed a 2-1 victory against Aston Villa).

It's was yet again dreadful. The space we allowed Liverpool was criminal, we don't have a shape we don't press the opposition, it's just schoolboy stuff.

Anyone who backs Wenger knows nothing about the game if they truly believe this manager is going to turn things around. He has his beliefs and he ain't going to change them. A total dinosaur of a manager.

I don't know, I think it's a bit of a shame. Arsenal is a proper club, not a plastic one like Man City or Chelsea. I'd much rather have Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool battling it out at the top instead. But then that'd mean your team being even further behind your neighbours (again). biggrin

You sound like a man with experience of having superior neighbours, am I right?

No, I wasn't around when Liverpool were dominating.

Liverpool were once dominant? Strange how they've never mentioned it.

I' m away and haven't even seen the highlights but read enough to know how bad we were.

Too many players out of form/being over played/played out of position...let's hope Wenger pulls his finger out in Jan.

From what I have read the defence played too deep because they were scared of Sterling's pace which left Flamini isolated with the midfield not dropping deep to support him. I get the feeling The Ox for all his talent is not blessed with the greatest football brain. Didn't drop deep on Sunday and did the same thing recently when he was playing right wing and Chambers was getting roasted at RB. Mind he is only 21. Clearly Wenger should be on the touch line telling him!
