Debuchy. That ball was going nowhere, but the Stoke player still felt he had to let his presence be known. Loved the way he walked off too.

I wonder if we'll be visited by any Stoke fans today.

Great performance...sad to see Stoke reverting to type with the off the ball cheap shot on Debuchy. Debuchy is going to be out for a looooong time....could be his season over. I had the misfortune to dislocate my shoulder last year...there is no quick way back. I didn't do any serious soft tissue damage and still a long time before it felt strong.

Yeah, the Debuchy injury could be a massive blow. We have shown earlier in the season our woeful lack of depth in defensive positions and this latest body blow must surely force Wenger's hand in the transfer market!!!

Alexis Sanchez, best player we've had at the club since Henry? For my money, he sure is.

He's most certainly doubled his value already. Barca must be thinking what on earth they were thinking in swapping him for Suarez hehe

Best player we've bought! Cesc and RVP had some very good seasons post Henry in a pretty average side. His finish for his first goal was just brilliant.

World Class is a phrase oft overused but Alexis definitely is....arguably he's the best player in the PL. I think he's going to bring the best out of Ozil too.....get rather frothy at the idea of those two pulling defences all over the place.

I agree (almost), best quality player we have bought along with Bergkamp, although Sanchez's impact has been bigger so far. I'd like to think that Ozil will get back on form and we'll see the best of him again.

The injury to Debuchy clearly evidence of how a lot of your team plays.

I meant since Henry but yes I agree best quality player we have bought since Bergkamp. We've been lucky to have watched some incredible players over the last twenty years but most were made/polished in N1 tongue out

His injury was caused by the ridiculous slope around the pitch. If anything he ran into the Stoke player.
Don't suppose you even saw Giroud push Shawcross in the face did you ? I guess that is acceptable to you lot

Giroud v Shawcross shoving happens in a lot of games. Thankfully Giroud's game isn't dependent on it.

The slope on the Emirates pitch edge isnt that bad, not compared with Old Trafford which is like a small cliff around it. I'm sure Girouds reaction to Shawcross was nothing to do with him being A) a massive c*nt for nearly ruining Ramseys leg and B) the fact he was trying to wrestle him every time there was a corner.

So pushing another player in the face is acceptable but fending off a player who is running into you isn't.
As I thought, your Arsenal glasses are obscuring your vision

You support Stoke....not really worth discussing the finer points of football is it. You are part of a fan base so ignorant that you think abusing a player who had his leg broken by Shawcross is acceptable ?

I only caught the highlights on motd, but saw Ozil came on. Did he look good, he didn't feature in the highlights.

He was clean through on goal and with space/angle tightening could only hit it with his right. Was still close TBF.

I've never agreed with you as strongly as I do here. biggrin

Stoke are a nasty, niggling side. They make Wimbledon of old look like Brazil.

I long for the day Stoke go bust, sadly I'll be waiting a long time.

He's a wonderful player, however I think it's too early to declare him the best player we've bought. In my lifetime we've signed; Seaman, Campbell, Wright, Fabregas, Vieira, Petit, Overmars, Henry, Pires and for me the greatest of them all Bergkamp.

Bergkamp represented a complete change in style and attitude for the club. £7.5m, he was an absolute bargain.

laugh you are kidding arent you? Did you watch the documentry on the crazy gang if you have BT Sport? Wimbledon or likely Fashanu on his own would rip The entire Stoke team a new arse single handedly.

I meant since Henry but clearly didn't make myself clear! Nobody will ever be better than DB10.
