He's a wonderful player, however I think it's too early to declare him the best player we've bought. In my lifetime we've signed; Seaman, Campbell, Wright, Fabregas, Vieira, Petit, Overmars, Henry, Pires and for me the greatest of them all Bergkamp.
Bergkamp represented a complete change in style and attitude for the club. £7.5m, he was an absolute bargain.
I agree it's still early days, I can't remember Arsenal purchasing a player who's had a bigger impact on the club in such a short space of time? We've bought some great signings into the club in the past no question.Bergkamp represented a complete change in style and attitude for the club. £7.5m, he was an absolute bargain.

Stoke are a nasty, niggling side. They make Wimbledon of old look like Brazil.
you are kidding arent you? Did you watch the documentry on the crazy gang if you have BT Sport? Wimbledon or likely Fashanu on his own would rip The entire Stoke team a new arse single handedly. The treatment dished out by Stoke towards Ramsey since cross tried to sever his leg is unbelievable. It's absolutely extraordinary to witness their cretin support booing Ramsey, it defies belief.

In other news The Gooners are apparently very close to agreeing a fee for Sissoko. Bloke who posted that on Twitter normally very reliable on transfers/contracts etc.
At around 75min mark, announcer declared:
"fans travelling north, service cancelled from blah to blah" (didn't get the stations as the home fans were already erupting into laughter)
Upshot was, a bad day for the Ramsey boo boys just got worse.
Great day for us was rounded off to a chorus at them " three nil, and you cant get home....three nil, and...........
Priceless

Standard Arsenal news day. Confirmed that Debuchy out for three months and also that Arteta is out for similar time....just had surgey on a bone spur in his ankle.
And we're about to sign this 17yr old defensive midfielder...Bielik. Apparently going straight into first team squad.
It's awful news, that's their seasons pretty much done. Debuchy's injury is especially frustrating given he's only been back half a dozen games since he was last sidelined. And we're about to sign this 17yr old defensive midfielder...Bielik. Apparently going straight into first team squad.
What about these 2 or 3 signings that have been mentioned.........................I won't hold my breath.
My guess is we pick up some kind of defensive cover in this window and hopefully this story is true about Schneiderlin come summer time. Even with Arteta crocked I think Wenger will think he's got enough cover in Flamini, Coq and Chambers at a push and will wait til there's betetr quality in the summer. Which is when Flamini's contract expires.
The Chambers deal was apparently done long before the end of last season so hopefully there's some truth to it!
