That is the best team performance in years. Finally, the team and the manager realised there is more than 1 way to play the game.

There were still occasions when we seemed to forget the plan, also there is still considerable room for improvement in terms of composure at the back but that was far more like it.

We thoroughly deserved our win and in particular I want to praise Santi and Coquelin who were outstanding in midfield. Santi's performance was the best midfield performance in some 3 or 4 years.

This is just the start, now we have to build on it.

I think he may have been bullied by a Spurs fan at school last term.

I used to think I'd been damned at an early age by choosing to follow Spurs but god knows what state of depression I'd be in if I'd picked Sunderland. frown

Sorry to take the thread OT guys.

For this club to move forward properly things need to change. It'll take more than 1 result to convince me that Wenger is the right man for the job.

I firmly believe that Wenger isn't going to change overnight. We need to be consistent and we need to prove this result was not a one off.

Am I convinced he knows what he's doing? No, far from it.

Agreed with the above. As great a win today was, we are still 13 points or so off Chelsea.

Santi was epic today. Start of the season he seemed off key and not very happy, but the last few weeks he has been back to his very best!

I think Coquelin is putting himself forward as a DM to consider. Certainly worth keeping hold of IMO.

Yes, however we still need more experience and quality in there.

I think that's twice we've agreed on something in a month! Brilliant performance.

Hard to see Ozil or Walcott getting back in the starting XI....quality problem! Who knows we might actually be able to rotate the players to give them a rest.

Fact remains we're an injury away from a sodding mahoosive hole in defence.

Very pleased for The Coq, Arsenal career looked over and hasn't he taken his chance...I'd wager he's going to get a new contract and Flamini will be gone in the summer when his expires.
