I was more upset when he went than saying goodbye to Bale.Fabulous footballer.
The Arsenal fans are doing their bit.
As I've said before.
We will put some results to together and the gullible start talking about how Wenger is the man blah, blah, blah. I've always maintained; we will get good results under Wenger but a total car crash is always around the corner and here it is yet again.
Tonight was the worst performance I've seen in Europe at home since we got beat by Benfica at Highbury 3-1 in 1991-2. That was complete carnage against a very average Monaco side and frankly it could have been worse.
In the summer we need to spend big money on; A keeper (none of the keepers we currently are good enough), the elusive central midfield player and a top class striker to compliment what we've got. Giroud is not good enough at the very highest level.
I said to myself what Arsenal didn't need to do having got a goal back in injury time was to attack kamikaze style and that's exactly what we did.
One day those that are critical of my views of the club and the manager might actually admit I'm right, however I won't hold my breath.

Monaco's counter attacking looked very good though, as bad as Arsenal were it only took Monaco a few passes to be on goal at times.
To be fair though, with a defence like that, I reckon even RVP and Falcao could have at least gone close and hit the bar or somethingJust back from the game. Can't remember the last time I saw play as badly as Giroud...tonight, had an absolute stinker. They defended his near post runs very well but you could just see the confidence drain from him. Mertesacker had a shocker too....second goal looked to be his fault...dived in for the ball....didn't get ball or man and they were through.
Cazorla and Alexis were the pnly players that really looked like they wanted it.
We were st...Wenger set us up to try and win it in the first leg. No plan B. If the players had played to their ability that game would have been quite straighforward.

Just back from the game, just surreal.
Started brightly enough without scoring, then Monaco get a deflected goal totally against the run of play.
It seemed like Arsenal lost their composure and tried to force an equaliser then conceded another..
Just lost it, giving the ball away, no shape or build up...awful defending, no leadership..
Giving away a third goal left me speechless...it was like no one told the team there is another leg!
And as for Giroud, I think he had two touches the whole game, they were two open goal misses.
