I know the Arsenal didn't play too good, but i thought Monaco were excellent.

Yes they set up to counter attack but they really didn't look that dangerous except when some frigging brainless defending made them look dangerous.

There's plenty to criticise but honestly the biggest criticism has to be of the players...the last goal reminded me of that brainless defending from Koscielny in the Bayern game last year. 1-0 with a few minutes to go at home with a second leg to play for and Kozzer took it all on himself to try and get the equalizer....went rampaging up the pitch with the ball and drew a freekick about 40 yards out. Almost our only player in the box for the resulting freekick was Kozzer....Bayern won the ball and with Kozzer at the wrong end of the fking pitch they scored. One year on another feckless goal conceeded in the last moments of the game.

Until we get a bonafide on-the-pitch leader that can stop the stupidity.......we'll continue to make those kinds of errors I suspect.
We seriously need a Tony Adams type character to lead the team on the pitch.....and a fresh tactical leader off of it I'm afraid.

Still, we've got that more important than anything else 4th place trophy to play for I suppose...........rolleyes

'Oliver Giroud is a top-level footballer,' claims Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger only last week....

sure pal, for ligue 2. thing is, he will look good against someone that doesnt turn up....bit like a wenger system.

don't worry i'm sure there are still reams of delusional gooners that will blame the wrong kind of rain on the turf or something else.... ever thought giroud did the best he could? hes average against a team that turns up to fight, always has been. poor sod.... nice hair though.

the really frightening thing is AW will appoint his successor and go upstairs and thus.... stay in control.

fun, fun, fun ! smile

Can't argue with that... well you shouldn't be able to any way.

Possibly.

We got Gabriel in the window and we need to see how that turns out. I think Chambers will make a good centre half too.

Meetesacker should with immediate effect be dumped a corner of the training ground as far away as possible from the first team. His performance was a fking disgrace and not for the first time.

But we're not going to get one and as soon as we string a couple of results together then those without a backbone will be saying how wonderful Wenger is again.

I don't think he'll play this weekend....be amazed if he does. I reckon Scezzer will be back too.

I wouldn't be surprised. Ospina looks out of his depth at this level to be honest.

Come the summer big money needs to be spent on a quality keeper.

To be fair to BFG....he was rushed back after the World Cup and has played virtually every minute of every game. Looked fked.
