Pleased for Giroud....we need to him to be in form on the run in. Ground it out. Ozil with two assists....his pass for Rosicky's goal is the kind of pass that only he can hit in that side. Those eyes must give him extra wide vision biggrin

Looks like Wengers given Mertesacker the chop!
To be fair to BFG....he was rushed back after the World Cup and has played virtually every minute of every game. Looked fked.
Excuses!

He didn't play in every game at the World Cup, or at least no where near every minute of it. He's played very poorly pure and simple.

Well, that turned out better than expected, good win from a poor display in the end...

He didn't but he didn't get a two month rest either.

He was awful (yes, I know he scored, but other than stabbing one shot into the goal he was woeful)

Most of those in the crowd around me were wanting him taken off before he scored, and even soon afterwards......

Walcott's lack of game time is interesting....contract up in 18 months. I wonder if he'll be off this summer....plenty of options on the right flank with Gnabry to come through too.

He's one of the most frustrating players I've seen at Arsenal. Just not consistent enough. When he's good he's very good, however in tight games if he gets just one chance you can't guarantee he'll take it.

If we can find a top, top centre forward in the summer I think we should go for it frankly.

He can definitely be improved on but I'd rather if we spent the probable £30mil plus to do that on someone who would add some bite to the midfield.

Wengers said he's not risking rushing Walcott back, dont forget he's only just back from a years injury, theres bound to be minor niggles after that amount of time out and although his finishing has been rusty he's still scored a couple of times already.

We can do both and frankly if that means spending in the region of £60m on two players then so be it!

This is true. I reckon there will be some revolving doors this summer. We've got a better squad than we have had for a long time but there are definitely areas where it can be improved. I'd say we're lacking genuine quality at Goalkeeper, Left Back, Defensive Midfield and Striker.

Latter two are the most obvious and maybe this prolonged spell on the sidelines will really convince Scezzer that he's got to take his career 100% seriously and get his mind in the right place. Got all the attributes to be as good as anyone else in the league.

I'd be quite happyu to see two really outstanding players come in personally. Don't think major surgery is needed.

Thanks, but can't use it, I find that on the iPad any part of the screen you touch to close all the bloody advert windows just links you to spam sites and you never get to see the match, drives me mad...
