Spot on about the ref. Michael Oliver was outstanding, he got all the big decisions right.

Easy FA cup draw, a place in the finals is pretty much guaranteed.
Rubbish, I really hate this attitude. I've been around long enough to see us beaten by Oldham, Millwall, Bolton & Wrexham. It's only 2 years since we lost to Bradford. I'll never take any game for granted.
It's an elementary observation. If you really think they're not getting to the final i'd recommend investing a bit of money in it and profiting as a result.

The Bolton one was at Highbury as well... 2-4 IIRC

Wrexham was a cracker though. Arrogant team that got fk all...

Mertesaker looked calm too.
So calm he stood there like a fking enormous German statue while Shrek scored hehe

Good result tonight though, nice to see the Mancs in a right mess for a change and karma with Welbeck scoring after the Skunk has nobbed us the last couple of games.

I can't remember what that was meant to be now! ipad autocorrect, not that I've ever used those words on it. Was enjoying his runs.

BFG seemed to pass it out quite well under pressure.

I think Kos was the one meant to be marking Rooney and let him slip?

But yeah, Welbeck scoring at Old Trafford was worth his fee alone.

I really hope that's autocorrect as well.

I'd nominate the ref as man of the match!

A very impressive display by him and I hope that by giving the second yellow to DiMarria other players will take note that they should not be allowed to get away with giving the ref abuse let alone being so bold as to lash out/poke/grab whatever you want to call it.

I hope that this result gives Arsenal the boost to see them through to the end of the season.

The Coq really is turning into a fine DM. Pleased for Wellbeck as he was having a nightmare up until his goal. Still doesn't offer enough up top for me to favour him over Giroud, he's first touch really is horrendous at times.

Of course, when the ref was kind to Bellerin who was already on a yellow you could argue that was fair on the basis Fellaini was given at least 3 or 4 let offs before finally receiving his yellow card.

On the whole though the ref did well to let the game flow.

Giroud wouldn't have scored that goal last night. Welbeck (not Wellbeck) is much quicker than Giroud and think in that moment he justified his selection for the game.

yes

Pity he hadn't been played in that role for the Monaco game as well instead of you know who, we may have had a different result.......

Kos was marking him but Rooney got goal-side of him so Mertesacker should have anticipated the danger and shifted across to support but he was watching Di Maria instead. You could see Kos giving PM a little hand-signal to suggest he was thinking the same thing...

I know stats only tell you so much and I am not claiming he's a Matic (yet) but apparently since he came back from loan he's leading the stats according to the Daily Wail.

Be interesting to see what happens when Arteta is fit again....

Interesting comments from Wenger about Theo.....if he doesn't get on the pitch today I reckon he's gone in the summer.

I'm very relaxed ahead of tonight's game. We've nothing to lose, we're all but out so I'm going to enjoy the game regardless.

Unless of course we get absolutely dicked, in which case I'll be raging! haha
