The same again.

Establish control of a game, take the lead (usual a 2 goal lead) then conceed a goal, then totally switch off.

Delighted with the result, which is the most important thing, however, this is yet another issue not addressed and will see us found out at some point.

I don't want to hear bullst excuses from the manager or fans about fatigue after a European game either.

As above, that was bloody painful to watch, first half was a combination of us playing quite well and Newcastle being catastrophically st, we should have been 3 or 4 up at half time if not more. It was almost like we just changed shirts at half time and we were mighty lucky to get 3 points in the end, we just didnt show up in the second half and all the old slopiness appeared again.

Where were you guys watching the game?

I used to watch some games (not live on Sky/BT) on First Row, but since switching to BT Broadband, the feckers have restricted access to that site

Search "Premier League Lives". Seems pretty reliable, and I have had english comms for the last couple games.

Just watch ed the MoTD highlights....fk me we went to pieces in the second half. We have been very lucky this year with the games we have had post CL midweek games...I think last year we had Citeh and Liverpool after the CL games at this time of year.

After the Man U win today IF we can beat Liverpool in the next game that would put a lot of daylight between us and them. Games are only weekly from now and a LOT of our team haven't played a full season!

Guys,I'm a West Ham fan living in Chelmsford, who will be watching Peterborough Under 12's v Dagenham and Redbridge under 12's before having to fly down the A1 to the Emirates as we've got tickets for Brazil v Chile on Sunday ( don't ask!). Time is going to be very, very tight.
So if you've got your head round that, can any of you advise what would be the best policy as I head in to London from the A1 as in using underground/parking/traffic etc/
Ta in advance.

Drive to Cockfosters and then jump on the tube, plenty of parking around the station.

Or park at Stevenage station and in 25 minutes you'll be in Finsbury Park.

Now you know, if you want advice, post in the spuds forum hehe

Is it me or do international breaks just get in the way of club football? looking forward to the Liverpool game, should be a cracker, a must win for both and we need to give them a spanking for last year and drawing against their 10 men at their place.

Looks like theyre going to be missing a few even before they start, Gerrard & Skirtel banned for their stampiness, Sturridge injured. Three vital players for them.

I know! But I got the tickets through a good friend who is also an Arsenal supporter, in fact he's managed to get one for my Dad too (also an Arse) and it'll be the first time me and my Dad have been to a game, let alone a Liverpool Arsenal match! biggrin

The Ox is injured isn't he ? Still better than the standard 7 or 8!

Passing of rights today, taking my son to his first game. Hopefully it'll be better than mine....a very dull 0-0 draw against Villa in the late 70's.

One of the big days of being a dad, good luck fella, hope it goes well.

Mines 24 now & watching the game each weekend together with a few beers is still what it's all about.
