a side who you really couldn't blame for playing the way they did..
Chelsea. We played Chelsea, right? It's almost like the team feels that the triangulated to-me-to-you shimmy-shimmy-dummy-switch-pass entitles us to goals. BURY IT FFS.
Nice when they do come off though. The problem being we don't know how what to do against two banks of defenders.
I'm pleased to avoid the champions league play offs and hope that enables us to get our transfer business done early.
I desperately want Petr Cech (I know very ambitious considering he's a Chelsea player), I also want Geoffrey Kondogbia to give us that Vieira like dynamism in midfield. Jackson Martinez to be our world class centre forward, he has power, pace strength and his goal scoring record is immense.
Some might say we need another centre half. However, with Jenkinson to come back from West Ham, Debuchy fit again, Chambers will be stronger next year and with having already said I'd like to see Kondogbia at the club, we'd have so many defensive options it'll be unreal.
With those signings I think we'll be an awful lot stronger and closer in the run in.

Cech would be an amazing signing.....just wont believe it until it's done. TSO will do everything he can to stop it. Top class keeper has to be worth at least six points a year. Apparently in the last PL game last year Fabianki got a run out ahead of The Cup Final....Scezzer might not get the game.
I was at the snooze fest on Wednesday night against Sunderland (bloody typical considering todays display) but i think Ospina saved us that game in the second half, he's also been a big part of the improvement towards the end of the season. Not sure i follow all the love for Cech, he was no doubt a top draw keeper, but the chavs are letting him go for one reason, theyve found a better one or he's dropped his game, or both. Our days of taking Chelsea rejects are gone.

I've often recommended Martinez on the Liverpool thread as someone they should go after. He'd be good for them but equally, he would do a great job for you. Sorry but you couldn't have got that more wrong if you tried. Cech is an outstanding keeper, he's in the top 3 or 4 keepers in the world in my opinion. I honestly think it's a difficult call between Courtious (sp) and Cech as to who is better, however only one player can get in the team. Chelsea have been very fortunate to have two keepers of the quality that they've had this season. Alfahorn said:

A lot of rumours/unconfirmed reports flying about linking us with Arturo Vidal.
I think he has the hardest working agent in the business - a few weeks ago it was nailed on that he was going to City!Man writes to Queen desperate for cup final tickets. And he got a reply

Nervous and excited in equal measure about tomorrow.....I don't think Scezzer will get the nod despite being the "cup keeper" and personally I'd go for Walcott after his display last weekend. Giroud's not looked sharp for the last few games and Walcott's pace on Wembley's big pitch would be an asset IMHO. Villa defence won't be able to push up as readily so our (hopefully superior) midfield will have more room to operate in.

Walcott in goal Can't see it myself but it's nice that Arsenal's newly acquired fans are at least making an attempt to understand the game

The Wembley big pitch...it's not like your place is the equivalent of a 5-a-side pitch and he now gets loads more room to run around in!Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
