An Arsenal win was obviously on the cards but I did not expect the game to be so one sided for the whole ninety minutes.

Enjoyed the game which has not always been the case with many past FA Cup Finals.
It was, I am sad to say the most one sided FA cup final I have ever seen. I enjoyed the day out though.

First Team Squad - all England/Welsh internationals.

Chambers
Gibbs
Jenkinson
Wilshere
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Ramsey (Welsh)
Walcott
Welbeck

Chelsea have Terry and Cahill

Man City have Hart, Richards and Milner

Man U Shaw, Jones, Evans (NI), Rooney, Smalling, Carrick, Young and Cleverley (who played for Villa yesterday).

Now why don't you do us all a favour and fk off to the Chelsea or Man City thread and bh and moan to them about foreign players

Haha very well said.

Pretty tame trolling there, must try harder.

Not so nice to see "not good enough for a start Jack" showing his class again, Arsenal are a fine example of how a club should be run & play with a beautiful style of footballing class ........

then theres this little wker ! he must be an huge embarrassment to Arsenal & Mr Wenger.

I think you've got more important things to worry about to be honest.

Great day out yesterday, superb performance and a very comfortable win. Fitting end to what has been our best season in a while for me. The performances against the better teams improved significantly with some good wins, and the emergence of Coquelin and Bellerin, outstanding performances of Sanchez and improving Ozil all give hope for next season. Some dreadful games, Stoke/Monaco, but on the whole much much better. We should hopefully put in a title challenge next season with a few sensible additions.

Disappointed to see some of the fans yesterday refusing to applaud Wenger as he walked around the pitch applauding the fans, even most Wenger outist's will have been impressed with the performance and a record sixth win deserves congratulations. To show such a lack of respect to our manager is shocking. It was very much a small minority, but still not good to see.

You haven't seen villa this season i.e. vs southampton, lost on aggregate 12-0 to Arsenal etc. Feel bad for the fans.

Anyway, looking forward to next season!

As a staunch 'Wenger Outist' as you put it. I did admire the performance yesterday and recognise a magnificent achievement.. I certainly would have given Wenger recognition of his achievement had I been at the game, however I resolutely believe change is needed to compete for the champions league and premiership.

I'm worried that another summer will pass without the necessary reinforcements we clearly need not being signed.

If it wasn't for the start of the season it would have gone to the wire. Something clicked in 2015. Not sure how much buying is needed, maybe cover for some positions

I think it was the calendar year 2013 when we were the best PL team by quite a way. i.e. we were top at Christmas in Dec 2013 and had a strong finish to the previous season. And we were the best team post Christmas 2012-3 season

i.e. this isn't the first of recent seasons where we've had a very good "half season" and had a garbage other half.

I think a lot of that has been injuries (beginning of this season for example) and some of it has been that lack of mental fortitude/fkwittery we have seen and we do now definitely have a lot more strength in depth than we did two years ago and in theory under the new fitness bloke should be much better in terms of injury prevention.

The single most crucial player in the current squad is Coquelin as he has been key to how we have played in 2015 (especially against the other Top 4 sides) and we simply don't have anyone else close to him in terms of how destructive he is to the opposition.

It was mentioned on MOTD by the commentator after Walnut scored his hatrick against WBA, and went over to hug the physio staff, that Forsythe had taken on a new job (can't remember where, but commentator did say) and was leaving at the end of the season.
