You all have been doing.
Instead of saying "Yes, he should grow up" you have all been defending and deflecting like two bit politicians.
To answer your rather lame attempt at deflection: If a Spurs player announced in public over a microphone that Arsene Wenge was a paedophile, I would cringe with embarrassment. If he did it a second time I would want him out of the club. I don't want our club to become another Chelsea or Millwall.
I've not defended him. I've merely said Spurs fans have bigger things to worry about than what Wilshere said. Which you do!

The rest is down to your interpretation.

Let's hope he doesn't pick up an injury at the hearing.

I was at the home game against Wet Spam with my six year-old and about half an hour into the game a bloke a few rows up shouted, "MERTESACKER! You f---ing w----r!"

My boy turned to me and said, "Dad, I know one of the words that man shouted is a swear word, but what about the other?"

"Oh, that's his name," I said.

I am surprised that the crass and childish outburst by Wiltshire is being defended on here.
Who's defended it?

Well, I've just re-read the pages of posts to look, and I must be missing something, because I can't find any posts 'defending him' at all.....care to quote them?

Wilshire does need to grow up, or be put on a shorter leash by the club, but like many of his fellow pro's, he not blessed with too much between the ears.

Alfahorn,
're Wilshire
The point you and many others are missing,or choose to ignore, is that it was a player of a club.
You point quite rightly to spurs fans singing about Wenger, a song I have never joined in, along with the odious sol campbell one, but the Judas tag is well deserved!
Another one I detest is the latest chant about kicking a head in.
Over the years I have seen the spurs crowd, and I expect other clubs supporters efforts at songs go from bad to worse.
I have to suffer the banal chants, but don't have to join in.
But with Wilshire doing it for the second year and th parlour backing him up, who also did the same thing just shows that players have st for brains. If I was an arsenal supporter, and thank god I am not, I would be acutely embarrassed for Mr and the club for the sewage that emits from what he calls intelligence, he is the supreme example of footballers having their brains in their feet.

So very, very sad. I read earlier that the PFA has taken him into rehab and he's on a two week course...and "they'll see how things go".

It's a totally misunderstood disease...sadly I can somewhat understand it because my father was an alcoholic. I hope Kenny gets through it like my Dad did.

I got all choked up seeing his eyes leak. One of my heroes as a boy.

Some of the comments on the clip are quite harsh and ignorant too.

Most of them are pretty damn alright.

Favorite is Ramseys vs Galatasary. Such a rocket.

I've not ignored or missed the point at all. I've merely made an observation. Like all the others Spurs contributors on here you've made an assumption.

Looks like we won't be risking injury #41 with Diaby at the club.

I'm glad this saga is finally over. We should never have offered him a new contract when we did previously as he had pretty much been out injured for 4 to 5 years then.

There are still a lot of rumours abound that we are set to offer him a pay as you play deal. Would be a fking disaster if we still offer this crock another contract!

Good to see Ozil and Jack doing the business - shame it weren't for us.
