Too cheap
Even considering his injury record? 100 appearances in 7 years??40m from City, then another 20 and we have Pogba. Yes, yes i do play FIFA 14 manager mode....

Petr Cech would be a great signing for Arsenal and could be their very own Van der Sar. Even someone like Brad Friedel did a good job after signing for Spurs at an advanced age. The same goes for Shay Given at City.
Assuming he signs. It seems to be all over the place that it's a done deal, however no word from Arsenal. Is this because everyone is being a bit premature or because of yet more utterly horrendously st communication from Arsenal?

I just love the lack of reaction from our Chelsea supporting friends....any other major team and the forum thread would be alive with debate about the rights and wrongs of selling a player to one of your nearest rivals. Chelsea ? Nope. Anyone would think they've only been supporting for a few years and are transient fans.

Or trust the manager's decisions as he has delivered a premier league? Also, there is history, Mata went to Man U as one of the fan's favourites and it has proved a good decision by Chelsea as, love him or hate him, he makes the big decisions to get the team right.RacingPete said:

Well there's no official news from any of the parties involved so not sure why there's a need to single out Arsenals horrendous communication. Clearly it's just not yet a done deal. Certainly not a reason for a dig at the club.It seems to be all over the place that it's a done deal, however no word from Arsenal. Last year it took an eternity to confirm the Ospina, Debuchy and Sanchez deals despite widespread reports the deals had been concluded. However, in this instance it would appear the reports in the media were premature as opposed to slow communication from Arsenal as confirmed by Petr Cech himself.

As usual taking only a snap shot of someone's views and oblivious to credit I've given the manager and team this season.
However, I still don't think we'll win the league under Wenger. I think we'll need to make a change to achieve that level again. He certainly achieved trophy success in the last two years, which I freely admit I didn't think he'd be able to achieve and he deserves credit for that as well as attracting the likes of Ozil and Alexis to the club.

As a Chelsea fan with the odd bit of insider knowledge, JM isn't happy about it and it's not his call. It was a promise made to the player by Abramovic, who wanted to give the player a free choice of move after 11 years of great service. RA knew that Cech and family was settled in London and would want to stay here if possible.

This has been reported elsewhere and I would imagine its probably quite true. Maureen doesn't want the player to leave full stop as I understand, however Cech wants to play football and Chelsea can't guarantee that for reasons I understand as you have Courtious (sp) and he has been outstanding. JM not best pleased but could also understand why RA made the decision.

If that is how you 'support' a team, I would hate to see the ones you don't like.
I ll also put on record I have a 50 euro bet placed that we will win the league next year. That's what supporters do mate.
