I was listening to a small time Spurs podcast this morning & they were saying that Bale is on around £600k a week before tax & he has a £1b buy out clause .

I think we can safely say he's not coming home to N17
I had heard it was £650k after tax smile
I thought the accepted number was £350-400k after tax.

I'm sure Bale is on more than Sanchez is on at Mufc, which is supposedly £450k after tax. Either way it's a nice little earner smile

He's on a nice bit anyhow. He has had a great time at Madrid and scored very very important goals for them, winners in 2 of the last Champions League finals ? I could see him going back to Spurs, but not for another year or two.

Me too TBH, he is apparently a nice and thoughtful guy - he is financially set for life so other considerations will come into play as he reaches the twilight of his career

I’m not sure how well he’d fit in with any team that employs a pressing game. At the right price he’d suit United though.

I think he'll do a Craig Bellamy - and come and play for his local team - Cardiff City:smile
Hopefully Aron Ramsey will join him at Cardiffthumbup

Not many clubs can afford Bales wages given how much he plays . I can’t imagine anyone paying what Madrid think he’s worth.

Madrid have shot themselves in the foot but paying him such obscene amounts, and effectively making him unemployable anywhere else.

Add in his age and injuries and few would take the risk even if he accepted a huge pay cut to 150-200k/week

I heard this morning that someone in China is offering him £1m per week.

I think he'll just stay put, pick up his £650k every week and play Golf for the next 3 years.

His record at Real is truly amazing over 100 goals 14 trophies including 4 champions league winners medals , sounds like he’s being hounded out doesn’t it .

Think I’d stay & play golf too.
