If he's not match fit, what's he doing on the Welsh bench?
Have you seen the other Welsh options?

Hope he does well - I remember a gangly kid starting at Spurs - we got lots of good memories from him and a couple of world class goals

He looked a bag of nerves but that goal should see him well.

He seemed to be hiding from the ball and playing everything one touch when it came to him until the goal.

Of course, he can add himself to the list of Brits who have scored on their debut for RM.

Amatuers, Laurie" Cunningham scored twice on his debut for Real.

McManaman got an assist in his first game and scored on his home debut.

Makes sense coming off the bench (if required) as its an important CL game, and no doubt he will be expected by the fans to start for their first home game this weekend. What was his favoured position playing for Spurs?

It didn"t seem to matter where he started, he'd still score.

As good as Bale is and he is a quality player, Ronaldo and Messi are on a different planet.
£85 million? Makes Ronaldo look like a bargain at £80 million.
