I find Parker's comment a bit rum. He's implying that the team needs to adjust to the second division, from the first (refuse to use silly new names, sorry). But there's only him and Rodallega left from last season's team. No one is adjusting here, they're all brand new, some of them quite literally. It's a crazy risk to be taking, this new, almost entirely youthful squad. I'll be delighted if it works, but like you I can see the trap door beckoning again. We're too lightweight.
And now I hear Liverpool (yuk, barf), want Roberts already. He'll be there like a shot.

Fulham boss Felix Magath said: "That was the worst performance but the good thing about today is that it is clear we have to change something.
This comment after Derby F.C. handed a 5-1 thrashing to Fulham , the man has chutzpah, granted.
With an almost zen-like insight like that I'm genuinely surprised that he hasn't been approached by Brazil for the vacant national coach position. This comment after Derby F.C. handed a 5-1 thrashing to Fulham , the man has chutzpah, granted.

I want a comprehensive bashing of Brentford tomorrow and a solid 2 goal advantage over Cardiff on Saturday. Failure to do either should result in a new coach before Reading a couple weeks later. I like Felix's ethos and he's clearly a proven winner. But he's struggling with our way of football and it can't carry on too long otherwise we can forget even getting to the play offs!
(Guessing there's an international on sept 7 or so?)

So one of those got on the pitch then...........
Feels good to win at last. Corner turned? Or business as usual against Cardiff?
I share that feeling of relief with you . Feels good to win at last. Corner turned? Or business as usual against Cardiff?
Am I being a pessimist or realist if I say it appears to be a question of survival now for us in this league. All thoughts of promotion surely are a just a pipe dream considering the results thus far . Looking ahead to the Cardiff game I would suggest that another loss would result in action from the owner.

It's a weird feeling to be even slightly optimistic, especially in the face of all evidence, and I hope I don't end up eating these words.
Looking forward to Doncaster at home in the League Cup now. That's a good draw, maybe we'll have a bit of a Cup run this year.............
Wibble.

The McCormack looked decent (& gutted at the end), but it's results that count! Surely he has to go!
Yep. I've had it now. My earlier optimism has vanished. His team selection last night was nothing short of negligence.OUT.
Betinelli
Hoogland Amorebietta Bodurov Satfylidis
David Ruiz Parker Hyndman
Rodallega McCormack.
That's the only team he should be picking out of our pathetic squad.
