BBC said:
'Rubbish!' screams a Fulham man near the pitch-level microphones as the full-time whistle goes. Boos around the ground and cries of 'you don't know what you're doing!' aimed at boss Kit Symons.”
Kit Symons said:
It's a result business and we got a result
(or something along those lines).

Absolutely, fking clueless. He must know he's out of his depth - would like to think I'd walk if found myself in a similar position, but he has another year on his contract.

I admit to feeling a little uncomfortable just now, feeble efforts against two fellow strugglers and no gaurentee of a result against Blackpool to come. Norwich are due a result against us, chasing promotion and at home , Middlesboro are in the play off places ....and as for us , sitting ducks with no feathers !

K.S. seems an ok sort of guy, from what I've seen no amount off coaching can transform the clueless crop of crap otherwise referred to as defenders into anything resembling footballers, bad decision making , lacking skill or ideas , what a shower !
Are they coached to fall back and not press allowing the opposition to gain huge areas of space and dictate the pace ?
Or do they forget their given instructions ?
Answers on a postcard , forward to :

Symons staying, Ruiz gone, Roberts gone (not that he hardly got played bizarrely). I can see some disgruntled fans from day one unless we get off to a flyer.

We'll be fine , the players are fitter than the opposition and apart from a bizarre decision from the official to award a free kick when no one offended we would have erm , not lost ....maybe we would have won because :

“Not disappointed with the actual performance because there was a lot of good play out there. We could have been a bit more clinical with some of our play in the final third but we had good invention and good creativity, it just didn’t quite come off for us."

Opposition was Eintracht Frankfurt , famous for losing against Real Madrid ( Puskas , DeStafano etc etc ) in 1960 .
Real Madrid won 7 -3 , I remember watching it !!!! Or maybe it was Pathe News at Tooting Granda , fantastic.!

Tooting and Mitcham held to 2-2 by a rampant Fulham under 21 side.

Paddy Hasty would have netted a few I'll wager . wink

If we finish in the top half this season, I shall go to the foot of our stairs.

I am prepared to stand by this promise and will post photographic evidence should the need arise.

I am that mad, yes.

I didn't much care for Dembele's attitude to McCormack after the latter got tanglefoot and missed a solid chance .

I saw him play many times as a nipper back in the sixties , a Fulham legend and no mistake. Gone but not forgotten.

My six year old daughter is off to her first game on Sunday! Hopefully ease her in gently with a win draw avoid a cricket score.

Kit Symons on Sky "I'm not very happy". Nor are we Kit, nor are we. Of course you'll get some results with such a decent squad, but the manager showing again he is simply out of his depth.

I have watched in disbelief as time and time again Fulham concede from corners, set pieces etc etc . I don't wish to disrespect the opposition as some credit must be awarded because the ball doesn't propel itself past the defence .

Fulham seem half paced , no quick ball ....Bad decisions , no one running into space , possession forfeited by poor passing,
I consider we were fortunate to get a point against Charlton .

Nothing to add .

You're not wrong. When Charlton got their first, I was quite confident that they would win 3-2, despite it being the 85th minute. I was relieved to get the point in the end, although Woodrow should have scored that late chance he had. Oh for a Geoff Horsfield or Harry Bayles.

Sorry state of affairs.

Saw Barry Hayles turn out for Chesham in the FA cup a few weeks ago. Seems to still have some pace but not quite the touch. All smiles though.

In fact might take my lad this afternoon for later round of the same as not much appears to be happening at home.

I have a keen recollection of Hayles and Saha at Old Trafford tying Wes Brown in knots with their pace and aggression .
Halcyon days .

Not too many comments lately , just waiting to see how it pans out and someone here to say " change the record "
I know I just keep repeating myself but nothing positive will be achieved until the entire defence is put in order and quality players are drafted in .
