Problem there is that Parker, Riise & Bent will probably only go on free transfers... scratchchin

Your manager was naive on saturday and that is putting it mildly.
Clearly he was expecting us to play Crouch and knock long balls into the channel for him, hence he put a giant of a centre half at full back. That is so last year.We have moved on and any coach worth his salt would know that.

Seems like the stereotyping of dirty old hoofing Stoke lives on which worked in our favour....yet again.

Fulham were cack. The players had given up before the 1st ball was kicked.Your manager was clueless.

You need to start again.New manager who knows the English game and new players with desire.

I liked the way your team played , the matchstick man at full back was Burn , embarrassing to watch him being skinned time and time again.
Fully agree with your synopsis , a whimpering performance but to be clear they've played like that nearly all season and in the final analysis fully deserved the fate they received , probably the worst team in the league .

No loss IMO,Parker reminded me of a crab , sideways only. Bent has no confidence and is a spent force , Riise slow and a shadow of his former self, plus the Championship is a tough league and all three would struggle there,

FM has definitely struggled to get to grips with English football. But remember he's coming in with 12 games left and no control over the squad. He's one fo the very best managers in Europe and I don't doubt that he'll get his head round it sooner rather than later. Yes, he got it wrong on Saturday but the players looked as if the world was on their shoulders (which it was) and this group just froze rabbit in the headlights style under the pressure.

Saying that Sparky is a worse manager. Failed at City, did nothing with us. And inherited Pulis' good work at Stoke wink

That my friend is a big load of bks,if not sour grapes.
He led you to 8th in his 1 and only season. If that's doing nothing god help every other manager out there.
As for inheriting Pulis's good work. We'd been on the slide for 2 years after the cup final defeat of 2011.The football was horrendous to watch and the 2nd half of 2013 we won something like 3 games out of 20 odd.The majority of Stoke fans were expecting us to get relegated this season if he'd stayed.
Hughes has transformed a 1 dimensional hoofball team into a team who pass, move and have pace,3 things no Pulis team was ever accused of at Stoke.

So yeh,after 12 games,Felix is a better manager than Hughes.Tit !

Why do football supporters do this - go on another teams forum to stir it up a bit and then gloat? Surely they can't expect a good reception when one teams just been relegated? Just seems an odd thing to do. hehe

Who knows. Given Felix has done so well in his other clubs. For a Potter to suggest he knows nothing and should be sacked is a little bit odd. I like how he couldn't see my wink at the end and got the right arse. laugh

On a related note, I think far higher of Pulis after what he did at Palace than his work at Stoke. Never thought he had that in him.

I mistook your wink for a smile.I'll let you off this time biggrin
I wasn't getting arsey but we've had to put up with opposing fans slagging us off for years."I couldn't watch that st every week" is the usual comment.
Times have changed,we've moved on.If they saw us every week they'd have a different opinion of us now.
As I said about Felix,he hadn't done his homework on us,that's rank bad management.

As for Pulis at Palace,I bet even he can't believe how well things have turned out.Wait til he's put his own mark on the club, bought his own players in.Let's see how well Palace do then.

Regarding other fans coming onto a Fulham thread. Why wouldn't a fan of a club you'd just played come on to discuss the match ? It's perfectly normal.Opposing fans come on the Oatcake message board all the time.
Anyway don't worry about it,you won't be seeing me again. We'll be a division apart next season biggrin

Mental!

"Fulham were relegated because they removed a statue of Michael Jackson from Craven Cottage, according to former owner Mohamed Al Fayed.

Al Fayed installed the statue in 2011 but new owner Shahid Khan had ittaken down in September.

Fulham were relegated at the weekend and the statue has been donated to the National Football Museum in Manchester.

"When the new owner decided to move it I said 'Fine, it is a lucky thing, you will regret it later'," Al Fayed said.

"Now the new owner will regret it because I warned him. I said 'You will pay with blood for that' because it was something loved by people.

"It was a big mistake but he paid for it now. He's been relegated and if he wakes up he'll ask for Michael Jackson again and I'll say 'No "

Last game of the season and last game for the whites in the EPL this year looms . Anyone going ? Anyone care to forecast the team Felix will play ?

I'm past feeling unhappy about the situation and looking forward to the new season , bouncebackability factor ? Can we survive in the championship ?
Who are the players that will stay ??

He did seem rather good a selecting managers, which is pretty much the key quality for a chairman.

I didn't manage to get to the cottage this weekend, my lad went with my old man. They didn't seem too despondent when they got back.

Away from the disappointing season the stadium development plans have been granted planning permission but (I'm led to believe) will not be started until the club sees strong season ticket sales (which isn't going to happen in the championship). If permission was granted in the summer of 2012 then the club only has until next year to start? I got planning for an access road many years ago and 'started' (but never finished) it to comply and maybe the club could stick a spade in the ground to claim work has started. Or maybe the new owner is going to bankroll it?

Not being a Fulham supporter that's the first I have seen of that but going on the artists impressions it's a fine looking structure and a decent improvement on the riverside too. I hope you get to see it built. Far cry from when I would go to Fulham as a kid with my Dad and uncles and stand on the riverside by the half time score board and look at the boats going by behind me! biggrin

Normal service resumed I see.

The drop in quality from prem to championship was painful to watch. Lots of possession but the ball going backwards most of the time and no creativity going forward. Hoping the team gel quickly, but any pre-season optimism has taken a quick kick in the nadgers.

We only conceded once?

Going down again at this rate. Why is there almost zero experience in the team? From the ridiculousness of an ancient squad to the ridiculousness of one that's too young.

Thanks , good thinking.

On a positive note we only conceded once, we outplayed the opposition ( questionable ) and ...erm errr ..hmmm.

Best quote came from S. Parker, " we need to adjust " . If they continue in this manner they'll be adjusting to life in another league and it won't be the premiership.
