Same scenario with a rugby match, it's like a carnival, singing, laughing, joking, no foul language, train can be packed, but no underlying sense of malevolence.
The atmosphere is totally different. Why ?? what happens here ??
That's right, rugby is such st that the fans admire each other for putting up with such dross. The atmosphere is totally different. Why ?? what happens here ??

Every single knuckle dragging moron that I know is a football mentalist though, Westham fans are normally the worst
Therefore IQ is not a barrier to enjoying football, but it is swamped by idiots who don't have two brain cells to rub together.
Just for the sheer irony.......Therefore IQ is not a barrier to enjoying football, but it is swamped by idiots who don't have two brain cells to rub together.
It's West (then a space) Ham ( with a capital 'H')

I really don't know what that tells me....unlucky?
Define IQ, fundamentally a persons IQ is based upon a number of things but football fans amass an incredible amount of knowledge about both their own teams players and the players on other teams. They can tell you which players signed for what teams, when and for how much, when the last time x won a cup or league and so on. Whilst this is just one element of what contributes to a high IQ score, I find it fascinating.
