It's a big shame that we still have him he should have gone by now I reckon, he should have gone with shelvey/downing/spearing.

He was bloody expensive wasn't he ,

Surely Brendan will have to play him in some of the lesser games.

Brendan rates him very highly so I would imagine he will find a way of getting him into the team.

I know we have pulled your leg about him in the past , But it would be a shame if he doesn't get regular football & i feel he's just not good enough for Liverpool.


Maybe a loan deal somewhere would be beneficial for the club & the player. He seems a decent young man & i wish him well.

I agree I think his future will be bright I just personally don't think he fits in with us...but then what do I know I've consistently slated BR & now look where we are!

As for Aspas, everytime I see him play I think I could have been a contender. The lad is useless.

Suggest to Swansea that you cobble together some sort of deal where Allen goes back home and you get Michu going the other way.

Alternatively, how about Pozuelo. Every time I see him he impresses me, he has to be at least as good as Aspas.

Pre season means bugger all. It's like the kid who can do all the tricks on the sideline but put him on the pitch and he's useless.

He may be finding his feet and yes the season is 4 games old. But he came with a pretty decent price tag and he's been abysmal. Accept it.

Since you, I and a few others started discussing this stuff on what would have been volume 2 or 3 I can honestly say that I have not seen a worse player start as a striker at Liverpool FC. Can you?

Jesus Christ we are top of the PL with still a relatively new squad, without our star player & easing young players like Aspas into the team & the PL, and you have written him off after less than 4 games!

I think we've done some cracking business this summer. Buying Aspas wasn't part of that. Its not like he even comes with a decent record. You class him as young. Have you even checked his age? 26 is not young for a striker imo. Is he in yours?

26 is still fairly young, especially one that has not played in the PL before. Give the guy a chance to find his feet & learn the English game IMHO.
