No Henderson and Sturridge a doubt against Norwich. I can see Allen starting for Henderson.
Maybe a start for Moses ?.
I'd go diamond with Gerrard, SuperJoe, Lucas, Coutinho, with SAS up front. Sterling and Suarez.

I wonder what BR could do with Lamela?

He was a quality player before he took a big step down to spurs and it seems they are only trying to ruin him further.

We should be able to get him for 2 or 3 million.Got to be worth the risk.

Doesn't sound like fishing to me. Everything General Price said is spot on.

If Sturridge is also out I think we'll go

Mignolet
Johnson Skrtel Sakho Flanagan
Gerrard Lucas
Sterling Allen Coutinho
Suarez

Just a couple of links away from an article Jim linked earlier is this piece.

Hard to disagree with any of it really.

There's even a ray of light in it for any Spuds. 7th to 1st is possible. Watch out for Totnem next year lads.

Do you prefer Sakho to Agger? Or is Agger not fit? Sakho makes me a bit nervous at times, A bit clumsy maybe?

I prefer Agger as well as Sakho doesn't give me much confidence and makes me nervous.

More balance with Sterling on the left?. What concerns me with starting Lucas and Allen is if any
of the mid three pick up a knock then being honest there is pretty thin cover on the bench.

I think a large part of the success we have had is the 1st 11 has been firly injury free for most of the
season allowing them to gel pretty well.

Certainly will need to add next season, given the demands it will bring.

I think BR prefers Sakho. He did come in with a huge price tag.

Sakho also makes me nervous, his passing looks clumsy but if you look you'll see its actually effective. His tackle risking a penalty was just silly and he always seems at risk of mixing his feet up. But its his first season and is settling in well.

As for Agger, I think he's a very very good player who'll come into his own next season when we're in the Champions League. Only problem with him is he just seems to pick up injuries too often.

Sakho always looks like he doesn't know where his feet are going, like bambi on ice.

I'm sure he will come good, but he makes me nervous with the ball at his feet.

Some good historical articles being posted on the LFC twitter feed today:

50 years ago today, Shankly's First Title

Top 10 Shankly Matches

Good to read about things that happened before my time.

I started supporting Liverpool on the day of the 77 FA Cup - most of my school friends were supporting Man U but I preferred the thought of Liverpool, sadly we lost that day. One particularly strong memory is of being allowed to stay up and listen to the 78 European Cup Final against Bruges on the radio. I can also remember being distraught when Keegan left and wondering whether his replacement (Dalglish, someone I'd never heard of) was going to be any good.

Plenty more memories over the years, both good and bad but I'm hoping the next few weeks will result in another title for us. Even if we don't manage it I think we will all have good memories of a very entertaining year.

Another weekend of nail biting and patience testing. I don't suppose there is any way that Chelsea might lose this weekend and take some pressure off ?
