I reckon Borini's just earned his place on the parade bus, there.

Anyone who thinks this is in the bag needs to realise, Sunderland, THE BOTTOM TEAM just drew and won respectively against our two fellow title contenders.

They have proved ANYTHING can happen. They went from 1-0 behind to 2-1 ahead against Man City, and really, Mannone gifted Man City the Draw by spilling it in the dying minutes.

Norwich WILL NOT be an easy game. Nor Will Chelsea, Nor will Palace. Newcastle, I just don't know. But complacency will cost us this title.

Great result for us, but as Stevie G said, the win didn't mean anything. One Game at a time. We need to beat Norwich - more GD ideally, but 3 points is good enough.

Slow and steady.

Had to follow the game on bbc sport web site as the missus wasn't up for watching chelsea when I'd already been out all day ffs

What a result. Even if he never plays for us again, Borini has probably become a legend anyway hehe

Are you mad? Norwich are going to be tough, they're fighting for survival, but Chelsea and Crystal Palace are going to be extremely hard games to win too.
No i am not mad. I think the Chelsea result is huge. We dont have to beat Chelsea or indeed Palace. Has anyone got the permutations as i am too excited to work them out !

To do this the Liverpool way we need to beat Chelsea next week, when we do that we will be true champions. Christ what a season!

How garbage are Sunderland hehe

Absolutely no chance they'll be taking points off both of our rivals inside a week. Should be 5-1 by now.
I thought you knew football HR. I never reading another one of your posts again. wink

Massive game tomorrow, massive, massive, massive.

if City win their other game in hand we need to mirror their other results. We can now afford to draw one of our last 4 games, so we at least have a buffer at Chelsea. I know Norwich will at least turn up tomorrow but we should tuck them away as a matter of routine. LS scores at will against them. I predict another hat trick from the Freddie Mercury impersonator!

Unbelievable result at the bridge tonight!!!

One game at a time, if we win tomorrow we will be guaranteed top 4 regardless of the Everton result later in the day which as you chaps know was the original aim. Fantastic season, let's see where it can take us! clap

I think we can afford to draw twice but not lose.

After this weekend, assuming we beat Norwich and City win (and win their game in hand), City will be 3 points behind and Chelsea 5 points behind.

Basically, until City drop some more points, it can still go to the final day!

Before anyone gets too carried away:

"However, Liverpool fans still cannot get too carried away. If Liverpool lose one of their remaining four matches then Manchester City, with five wins from five games, could snatch the title on goal difference."

One game at a time lads.

Maureen may well play his full strength teams in Europe and rest a few for our game now. Whatever else happens, this is the best chance we've had of winning it since we last won it, surely. Its ours to lose. If we win I hope I'm alone. I'll probably cry like a girl...rolleyes

If we win tomorrow, we're practically guaranteed a top three place, unless Arsenal or Everton can overhaul the GD! biggrin

Another weekend of nail biting and patience testing. I don't suppose there is any way that Chelsea might lose this weekend and take some pressure off ?

To do this the proper Liverpool way we would now go on a losing run only for Stevie to pop up with the league winning goal in the 95th minute against Newcastle.

I wonder how important that Borini goal could be for us?

Each game at a time, lets hope suarez does the usual against Norwich!
