Means more money coming into the club and more normal price tickets for the fans, the commercial dept have implied they will have something extra as soon as next season!!! so I assume this is a quick upgrade to Anny road? as the main stand will take ages.
Any idea what the capacity will increase by? Much prefer a re development of a stadium where we retain our history. Max capacity supposedly 60k but at what I price? Certainly I am spoilt with my view at present but will people be happy paying £3k to sit in the gods with a prawn sarnie? Also the proportion of none food normal tickets is supposed to be much smaller in relation to the new capacity, they want average spend per fan to increase - obviously it's a business it just seems hard to accept its a cash generator .
After this season the timing couldn't be better to increase capacity.
Season ticket demand will surely be up, and the number of people I know who support other clubs that are desperate to get tickets next season for our games is fantastic.
We've needed more work on our commercials for a while I feel, fingers crossed we make good progress on this in the coming years.

Was hoping he'd get another 2 transfer windows and finish the job. Hopefully just noise. He just needs time.
You have to feel for the man (a bit) given what he inherited..
He's taken a trophy winning team to a middle table team. st.
We're all gutted because if they get a good manager it'll be harder for us to be successful next season. With him there not so much.
He inherited a squad on a steep decline and with many vulnerabilities. He hasn't helped himself by not knowing what to do I certain situations, but then they knew he lacked experience. Shouldn't have hired him if they weren't happy going through a period of transition.
I'm not shedding tears, I'm just expressing some compassion.
Same here about Moyes - he's been stitched up with a team of mostly has beens. Last year SAF brought a player out of retirement FFS when he should have been blooding new talent or buying in both raw and proven talent.
Man United won the title last year despite being more than a bit rubbish. Many of their games were one- nilers that they coud have lost and they didnt entertain. City and Chelsea sacked their managers after not being able to mount a serious title challenge and Arsenal did nothing. Liverpool struggled too with their new manager and Everton did pretty well but still won nothing.
Short memories in football.

Utd can replace Moyes with anyone they like, but unless the owners invest massively in the squad the results won't be any different. The evidence over the past 5 or so years suggests they don't want to plough cash in a la Chelski/City hence why Moyes was appointed in the first place due to his track record of developing youth & finding a bargain or two.
This Athletico v Chelsea game is so dour it's unbelievable, we really have been spoilt this season haven't we.

Very strange, if we win our last 3 games we will finish on exactly the same W/D/L numbers & obviously points as United last season!Man United won the title last year despite being more than a bit rubbish.
