Looks great, got to admit such a better idea than moving to a new stadium and losing part of the major identity that is Liverpool FC.... 54,000 though? we have something like 23,000 people still on the season ticket waiting list and that's after they made you confirm you still wanted on......
£230m for 9,000 extra seats, does that not seem a lot?

Have to say HR, I was thinking exactly the same. Too many stadiums just look like metal and plastic soup-bowls.

Meanwhile, Bayern have had 79% of possession during the first half at the Bernabeu.

The main stand needs to be refurbished anyway, very very tired the further back you go. Adding a extra tier there whilst they're at it is a easy thing to do.

My worry is that adding bits like this will end up with the stadium feeling like it's had a cheap extension and end up looking mismatched.

Be interesting to see what the final plans will look like. As for the extra seats for this time round, it won't even make a dent in the season ticket waiting list.
